Latest betting odds for France’s Presidential Election May 7, 2017. I am guessing the polls will be closed around 11:00 PM, Paris.
Latest betting odds on the next President of France, based on polls for the top 4 ranked poll favorites:
Emmanuel Macron – 4/5
Marine Le Pen – 7/2
François Fillon – 9/2
Jean-Luc Mélenchon – 23/1
A runoff between the top two vote-getters would be for final election May 7.

If, and this looks likely if the polls are to be believed, that runoff features Le Pen against Macron, you can expect to hear a lot more about the French election and what it all means for the global populist movement…

IMO, the most interesting chart from the stack of SMA charts is Paris Arilunar, which begins April 25th after the April 23rd election to determine the final two candidates. In the below mundo Arilunar chart, we see a tight triple cnj with Moon-Mercury-Uranus, tight cnj Paris Dsc. This is certainly symbolizing the emotional (Moon), exciting (Uranus), media (Mercury) attention which will be dominating Paris leading to final election May 7.
If we allow Uranus to symbolize ‘populist movements’ and Moon symbolizing (Women), would this chart be symbolizing Le Pen winning in a slight upset (Uranus)? Also, Sun in Paris Arilunar partile cnj WP in RA. Also, very interesting to note: Mercury-Uranus is partile cnj in the heavens, partile aspected to the cardinal moons from April 25 through May 8th, covering this entire pre-election and final election time frame. It is interesting this election is starting to draw 'World' media (Mercury) attention.

Both La Pen and Macron were elected for a run-off as France’s populace completely rejected all the other establishment candidates. This represent a marked ‘change’ (Uranus) in France’s prior Prez elections. This 2017 election process in France has been very emotional with ‘intense’ emotional responses from the voters of France. Note the non-dormant Moon-Pluto cnj in Paris current April 19 Mundo Caplunar (Chart of the Month), which covered the April 23 election and the final run-off election May 7 with the two above candidates. Ebertin says about Moon-Pluto:

An extremely emotional life or an extreme expression of feeling.

Then, when we note the above non-dormant weekly April 25 Arilunar chart, dominated by close Mo- Me-Ur angularity, we see how there was a non-conformist change (Uranus) vote for the final two run-off candidates, completely opposing all the other establishment candidates. IMO, SMA, can at times, offer us the mass psychological mood for a voting populace.
