I am looking into NASA in conjunction with my interest in UFO's&Aliens.
NASA was formally founded by law on July 29th 1958.
But NASA's homepage states that NASA formally opened for business on October 1st same year.

So which one do we take as the natal chart?
July 29th ecliptic chart:
Sun and Uranus on both sides of Jupiter's exaltation degree in Cancer.
Sun sq. Mars and Neptune (T-square)
Moon-Jupiter square
Mercury-Pluto conjunction in sextile&trine aspect to Neptune&Mars.
Oct 1st ecliptic chart:
Sun Mercury conjuntion in Virgo, Sun conj. Mercury's exaltation.
Moon square Uranus.
Jupiter conj. Neptune and sextile Pluto.

Re: NASA's birth chart
By theory, when it was created, i.e., moment the President signed the bill confirming its creation by Congress. There may be a separate function for the other chart, though, e.g., distinction between NASA per se and NASA's operation or undertakings (subtle but perhaps directive).
Something similar but kind of reversed: For several years, I was interested in the astrological behavior of cities. Mark Penfield published a book of horoscopes of cities based on when they were founded by initial settlers. (We can do that more easily in the U.S. than in Europe <g>.) Carolyn Dodson did an enormous compilation of horoscopes of cities based on when they were established by law (city charters etc.). In practice, I found Penfield's charts passionately expressive of the people of the city and its general culture, and most interesting in synastry with my chart and others'. Dodson's charts I found sterile and meaningless until I had some reason to examine the formal workings of the city's government, and of no value in comparing to my chart in terms of experience to the city, but only in terms of experience with its government (e.g., when I got a parking ticket in Phoenix once).

Re: NASA's birth chart
Yes it is interesting as well with cities, although we must always note our relocation angularity and that may be the dominating factor in how we feel and succeed in that particular city.
With NASA, I was interested to see if it would have prominent Uranus and Pluto features.
I thing the 29th July chart has both.
