Well, I didn't migrate the analysis for my vacation from the old forum, but if you recall, I was worried because for the location in Colorado, my wife and I both had angular Mars and my oldest daughter had angular Saturn. Toward the end of the week, there were some unfavorable chart conditions for my daughter, and we were a little worried about accidents.
The effect of the angular Mars didn't make me grumpy as I suspected. Instead, it was more like activity was demanded of me. On the very first day, my sister-in-law and new brother-in-law took us on "a two mile hike, pretty level, pretty easy." Only, it was actually two miles in and then two miles back out. And "level" is a very relative word. We disagreed on that part. It didn't kill me, but I was worried for a bit on the way out. There's less air up there for certain.
The unfavorable chart conditions for my daughter ended up manifesting at the end of the week (as predicted) in toddler super-tantrums at night. I mean, big ones. Unusual, hour-long ones, ostensibly due to an unusual sleep schedule and bedtimes. And the mommy was not giving an inch. I'll take that over accidental injury. It did seem to fit the imagery.
Overall, it was a great trip. Beautiful country. Enjoyed it.

Re: Post-Vacation Report
I think I did suggest burning off the Mars with hiking and other outdoors activity
Thanks for the feedback. Glad it was substantially a great trip. This is also a good example of the rule of thumb, "Things are never quite as good or quite as bad as the charts look." The description will match, but the magnitude will rarely match one's imagination.

Indeed! I have this quote framed in my computer office, set next to my computer monitor. So, either reading for yourself or others, always read conservatively."Things are never quite as good or quite as bad as the charts look."
