Since your quotidian angles have most often hit a key planet (most often Neptune, sometimes Mars) for these, shall we take a quick look at those?

Your SNQ had transiting Saturn exactly on Asc (0°31') for the 11:40 birth time. This would only be fitting if the event, while looking martial, were really a reaction to Saturnian demands or conditions, so it might not be a mtch.

Natal Neptune (the more typical culprit) was 3° off SNQ MC, which is too far.

Your SQ went a different direction: Its IC was 0°47' from transiting Pluto, so if it was an eruption consisting with "having had enough," wanting to break away, sever, withdraw, be left alone, then that would be appropriate; otherwise, not.

Ah, but then there is a result that doesn't thrill me: The Q1 variation of the SNQ, the version I see working least and like to think of as not worth our time / invalid (but which others love).... well, it's all there: For 9:30 PM last night, SNQ1 Dsc 12°43' Taurus, transiting Mars 12°39' Taurus, a 0°04' hit for the 11:40 birth time.

Thanks Jim. I still never ever check any quotitian charts. I just want to keep the KIS method, keep it simple... should show up with a simple transit.

Definitely a Martian hit. I assure you. It was aggressive as Mars. Knocking my head with his fingers, taking my glasses off me and throwing them and taking my phone off me and throwing it on the floor. Really, just Mars.

I keep checking them because I've found that these spontaneous outbursts of temper are nearly always shown in quotidians and rarely anything else. At least for me, simple transits don't do it. (I may have an aggravated day with Mars to Moon or whatever, but no temperamental outbursts.) - Additionally, Fagan spoke of the Qs as showing this most typically (something reinforced by Bradley in correspondence).

So, for me anyway, KISS on this kind of event means ignore transits and always look at the quotidians first (and maybe last). In this case you got an exact Mars hit concurrent with simultaneous Saturn and Pluto scrunches.

Sounds like it was his Mars acting aggressively toward you.

Yes Jim, I understand your approach and I guess it is good to keep track of the Qs as well... but maybe better to compare with an alternative possible bt.

However, I do think that the simple method of transits should work as well, so a transiting Mars should show us something of Mars nature as it transits our angles or relocated angles. This means that IF the 11.40 bt is correct, then I should see something of Mars nature come to me during 17th-19th of April when it should be transiting rel. ASC. I'll keep you posted on that.

JSAD you are wondering about his natal Mars I guess.
His natal Mars is not triggered by the t. Mars. The t. Mars is not triggering n. Neptune, Pluto, Ur nor Saturn ... but it was partile sextile his n. Moon and partile sq his n. Venus... which to me should have triggered a more sexual response. The t. Mars is also over 4° away from his n. MC if his bt is right....so it will be transiting his n. MC at the same time as it transits my rel. ASC. I expect that to show up somehow.

Exactly! As I have often stated on this forum, you always want to check the Q charts when you have isolated an 'out of ordinary' incident in the life. Q's have a way of shinning with their angular activity with 'out of ordinary' incidents. Not only is this proven with individual charts but with mundane charts. As a general guideline: When all the Q charts line-up with angular activity as Jim has pointed out, you can bank on the symbolism manifesting.

Yesterday was an excellent example of what I'm used to seeing for "meltdowns" or angrily "losing it." Marion and I needed to talk to technical support on an item just acquired for the car and I ended up spending two hours on the phone being bounced through levels of people (all of whom were nice, trying to be helpful, but simply couldn't do anything) until I ended up (for the last hour) with an infuriatingly worthless person who not only wasn't helping but (1) had no clue how to communicate and (2) was a friggin' idiot in every other way I could tell. In other words, he pushed almost every button I have (including my feeling "held hostage") and I had a meltdown like I haven't had in years.

If I'd gone by Mars transits, I'd have expected this the day before. Especially now that Pluto is within 1° of conjunct my Mars, I'm probably more vulnerable to being blind-sided by unleashed, and the day before Sun transited square my Mars. But (perhaps because I spent most of the day working at home alone) nothing popped up. Then, carrying over while the transit was still in orb, the Sun transit to my Mars was the more typical sense of having to push harder to get things done, mild aggravation at little frustrations, etc.

But when the storm broke with the idiot on the phone... that was all gone. What was there instead (and has been there every time I've ever checked on a "meltdown" of my own) was in the Solar Quotidian: Natal Neptune on IC, natal Mars (with the transiting Pluto) on Westpoint. The Q timed the spontaneous event, not the Sun transit a day earlier.

With AA rated charts, Q charting incidents to the exact day are most revealing/interesting to an astrologer.
