Santa Monica plane crash

Post by Jim Eshelman »

While I was out of down, there was some news I missed: a serious plane crash (a business jet) in Santa Monica, CA. Four died (nobody survived the crash and fire). There was initially some mystery around the identities.

The event occurred at 6:20 PM PDT, on Sunday, September 29, 2013.

CAPLUNAR: Venus 1°07' above the Descendant. Foreground Moon-Saturn mundane square (1°21'). The Venus is 4° ecliptical conjunction with Saturn fulfilling the common "Venus foreground and afflicted" mark of mournful events.

CANLUNAR: Quite mixed. Saturn 2°41' from MC, Jupiter 0°33' from Descendant, Moon 0°50' the other side of the Descendant, Moon/Jupiter 0°08' from the angle, 1°51' Moon-Saturn mundane square. I'd be willing to call this a misfire if there weren't so much RIGHT about it. The Jupiter elements seem inconsistent with the total loss of life, though might be connected to some element of the business nature, the wealth of private jet ownership, etc. Bottom line, though, is that the Caplunar seems cleaner.

CAPSOLAR QUOTIDIAN: CapQ Mars is within 2° of square the CapQ MC. Transiting Mars is just outside the 2° orb of squaring from the other side, but their midpoint, 23°31' Libra, is 29' from the MC. The mandatory Mercury element is present with transiting Mercury within 2° of square the CapQ Ascendant.

CANSOLAR QUOTIDIAN: Transiting Mercury is 39' from square the Ascendant. However, transiting Jupiter is 1°12' from square the MC.

TRANSITS TO CANSOLAR: The mandatory Mercury element is present in transiting Mercury 1°07' from square the Midheaven. Also, transiting Mars is 1°53' from square the Cansolar Ascendant. Transiting Saturn is 25' from conjunct the foreground Cansolar Moon.
