Tyra Banks - beauty/fashion and TV

Since I am looking at birthdays on Wikipedia, I see a known woman has her birthday today. Nothing like Franco though :)

Wikipedia says:
Tyra Lynne Banks (born December 4, 1973) is an American television personality, producer, businesswoman, actress, author, former model and occasional singer. Born in Inglewood, California, she began her career as a model at age 15, and was the first African American woman to be featured on the covers of GQ and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, on which she appeared twice. She was a Victoria's Secret Angel from 1997 to 2005. By the early 2000s, Banks was one of the top-earning models in the world.

Before I look at her astro chart, I must say that I expect to see a strong Venus feature in this woman's chart. Possibly also Sun or Moon on angles.

Astrodatabank says:
Birthname Tyra Lynne Banks
born on 4 December 1973 at 19:13 (= 7:13 PM )
Place Inglewood, California, 33n58, 118w21

Well she does have her Moon on MC and it is partile opposite Pluto (her parents divorced when she was 6 but she says it was not traumatic). Jupiter and Neptune tie into that opposition by a trine and sextile aspect.
Her Venus is the midpoint in a Mars-Uranus-Venus T-square. The Venus-Mars aspects are indeed connected to charm and sex appeal.

She seems to have had her break in modelling at a very early age in Europe, Italy, France, Spain while being rejected in LA. Although it was indeed an LA modelling agency that signed her up, she moved to Europe and her modelling career took off there.
Interestingly, her Venus-Mars-Uranus T-square becomes very relevant in France and Spain and her Jupiter is on her IC in Milan, Italy.

Jim Eshelman wrote:Remember that pretty much all the major "pin-up girl" type sex figures in modern history have been angular Moon. Tyra has:

Saturn on EP 0°44'
Moon on MC 1°04'
Venus above Dsc 8°37'

So you were right about the strong Venus - it's just not the strongest, but it's one of her three foreground planets. (Pluto isn't foreground: It's 12°26' off IC. But the Moon-Pluto opposition 0°50' is, of course, important.)

This looks like the chart of a woman has is tough, persistent, and almost brutal enough to survive and thrive in a genuinely brutal, demanding profession.

Yes I remember that f.ex. Marilyn Monroe had Moon angular.

With Tyra I also think it is very interesting that she started her modelling career and became known already at a very young age when she relocated to her Venus and Jupiter lines. That's where her beauty was embraced and she became known for it ... then to later turn back to the US and become a TV star as well where her Moon is angular. Yes she does seem like a tough cookie :) ... and since her Moon is angular - it also makes her Pluto important (to me anyway) since it is connected to her angular Moon.

Venus_Daily wrote:Yes, but it was also square Saturn and opposite Neptune. That is a difficult combination for anyone, I presume.
I wanted to ask in terms of Moon vs Neptune.
Is the Moon Reflective and flexible to the needs, wants, and desires of others versus Neptune being the part of the personality, psyche, or body people project their own personality traits onto?
I know that Neptune deals with projection, and I have met some people with an angular Neptune that just seem like they have antennas and people unload on them, either randomly or in relation to what planets are aspecting Neptune.
