I didn't see a discussion of this important aspect here, so I thought I'd post a link to this graphically rich, very thorough, and very long article by sidereal astrologer Nick Fiorenza that he titles "Revolution and Revelation." http://www.lunarplanner.com/Uranus-Plut ... index.html Two current news items, Egypt and the NSA, seem to confirm his approach, which few mundane astrologers would disagree with. But much else is and will be the result of this powerful configuration. Posting your considered observations as events continue to unfold would be instructive for beginners, and maybe even old hands.

I haven't read the article yet, but a few general remarks.

The last major Uranus-Pluto aspect (the conjunction in the '60s) was in Leo and had a dramatically different effect than the present square in Sagittarius-Pisces, which has centered much more on ideological polarity. (Neptune in Aquarius doesn't diminish that at all!)

In both cases, though, the aspect has had strong anti-establishment, anti-government flavor. A difference is that those who led the charge in the '60s opened up a blazing liberal agenda; but that liberal force has become enough of an establishment force that the same energies are now tending more toward extreme rightwing antigovernment swings.

Close (ecliptical or mundane) Uranus and Pluto aspects have been in the foreground of ingress or event charts for the following events:
