This aspect seems to be able to turn both ways in relationship matters. It seems to be either that you may quit or you may commit (marry). Saturn is of course serious and full of duty. What is your experience and with witnessing other people's relationships around you? Do you believe it can be mitigated by having tr. Venus in conjunction to it?

I am looking into possible wedding dates this year and Saturn is in my way since it is about to enter Sagi and therefore come into conj with my Jupiter-Venus/Pluto on the Jupiter side to it. I am pretty sure that is not really a good idea, since last time Saturn entered that T-square (in conj with Pluto) I separated from both my parents and my sister and some years before that when Saturn transited conj my Venus I had just separated from my ex husband and was having a rather hard time. So the proximity of Saturn to this T-square of mine, now on Jupiter, scares me. Although when it last passed by Jupiter in 1988, it was accompanied by Uranus and I made my first ever love commitment (started my first love relationship). So serious sh... seems to happen when Saturn comes into that T-square.

I worry a bit that something serious is about to happen to or in my family with Saturn's transits through Sagi, since it will also transit my children's natal Pluto which is around my DSC plus I see that their solar arc Pluto is coming into square with their natal Moons. I suspect this might mean a severe separation or even possibly that someone is about to die.

So am wondering if I should try to find a date before it enters Sagi, while it is at the end of Scorpio in safe distance from my T-square (4-5°)... or if I should let it pass by my Jupiter and DSC to see if my relationship will survive that ... and then find a date sometime next year when we've passed the downsides of Saturn.

That's certainly true of Saturn transits to Venus.

Great for a commitment. Sucks for a party. But, of course, you want to make sure the relationship is in solid shape along the whole approachway to the altar.

It is! You're getting married! That's serious stuff.

Separations are possible, indeed. Not the only expression on the table, but one of them. (How old are they?)

Saturn is already in Sag. It will leave again, It will be on your stuff by April-May.

My opinion: Don't rush it artificially. If things are going to go badly (hypothetically), you don't want the scenario of "hurry up and get married and then run into bad trouble two months later," right? I think it should have a life of its own and come together in its own time.

You might do better to wait until after it has cleared the first five degrees, which means waiting most of a year. This would be especially important if the party - the social event - is important to you.

Yes this is exactly what I am thinking when I see this aspect. I am now thinking that maybe it is best for me to just see how I will feel at the time when Saturn first touches my T-square in next two months. If it feels horrible, then I will not marry during such a time. If it feels ok, then I won't worry as much for the return later in the year. But I would wait until it has also passed by my natal DSC.

Yes I think at least I will wait past the first hit. The social event is not at all important to me, I don't really want a social event, I just want for us to travel.

My younger children are now 6 and soon 8 and I am just wondering if someone (possibly elder grandparents) in our family is about to die.
Although I tend to think that it is actually about someone very close when it comes to Saturn over Pluto (at least it was in my case).
I've just noticed that their father also has a Saturn-Pluto symbolism in his progressed chart. Pr. Sun and Saturn are on his Pluto
