I read the entire section on this transit, but to me it still seems a little ambiguous

I know there are lots of other elements to this chart, but this one seems to be the most important, Neptune and Pluto are still somewhat hard to grasp for me, they're like advanced calculus, and put together either transiting together or one transiting each other natally they're just as bad.

Can anyone help, Jim, Steve, any other advanced astrologers?

But when it is foreground in a return chart, you have two additional factors besides the transit: You have natal Pluto foreground, and you have transiting Neptune foreground. Reading those separately will fill in more detail.

In this particular case, you also have the following (just to particularize it a bit more tightly):

r. Pluto conj. Ascendant. Self-discovery. Liberation from inherited attitudes. Existential recognition of yourself as sole monarch of your inner universe. Rebellious, uncooperative; a need to be free of other’s arbitrary values. Pivotal spiritual experiences possible.

t. Neptune conj. Descendant. Quest for something meaningful, probably involving close relationships. Either dissolving rigid views that separate you from others, thus new intimacy; or your prejudices are dramatized and trigger struggles and distress. Sensitive, vulnerable. Perhaps confused relationships, frustration, dependency, disillusionment in relationships, unrealistic views.

As it hits each of the relevant points - s. Neptune, r. Pluto, and possibly their midpoint - it will trigger something. You canm look under the interpretations of s. Moon to s. Neptune or r. Pluto for an indication of what that might be.
