The Caplunar for the Sweet 16 (beginning 3-27) shows Venus/MC on the east coast, favoring DC-Philadelphia-NY (favoring Villanova and Syracuse). Florida does not look good. :x

Arizona has Pluto/MC with several aspects.

Uranus/AC in So Cal. with several aspects helping UCLA and San Diego State.

Moon/MC square Mars in mid Texas.

Saturn/DC is through Kentucky which has 2 viable teams.

I have picked Villanova-Syracuse-Arizona and ?(probably Michigan) for the final four. UCLA could sneak in against Syracuse though. Any other ideas?

I am filling out my brackets now for the billion. :D I'm retired so I will enter several contests to pick the winners.

You're right, it's a round brown ball, the pointy ones don't bounce as well.

My biggest secret is that Arizona will lose if they make it to the championship game. They have a double dose of Saturn on the CapQ AC.

I need a refrain from the strain of the plane and Ukraine, this should do it.

I hear that.

Have you seen this:
http://fivethirtyeight.com/interactives ... edictions/

It's Nate Silver's site, which just went live today. He includes things like which team has to travel the day before a game and whose quarterback got hurt so they're not playing with the same team they were during the season.

I see that the same old news brings the poet out of you. :) For me, I am trying to figure out a way to keep from dying of boredom before the start of next year football season. Last season was the most exciting SEC football season I have ever witness in my life, which was foretold by my SSR with SSR Moon tightly conjunct SSR Uranus.

Thanks Jupiter for the Nate Silver site—very interesting.

Nate Silver stated:

But for some reason, in political prognostication, you can be regarded as a savant just by pointing out that the favorite is probably going to win.

Lots of truth here. In the past when Vegas has betting odds for an important political election, the favored always wins—it’s the closest thing to a sure wining bet for a gambler the day before the election with the favorite.

Great site, Jupiter. Thanks.

I'm not a basketball fan (I only enjoy the last 2 minutes of a close game) but March Madness is a good distraction. It gives me a chance to play around with ingress and Q charts which I am just learning. Brain food for the hungry.

Jupiter Sets At Dawn wrote:

  Did you mean goalie?

Nate Silver favors 4th seed Louisville to win it all. They should have been given a higher seed but they played a weak non-conference schedule. I will agree that if they can overcome Saturn/MC during the tournament they have a spectacular Canlunar on Championship Day and should win it all.

Indeed! Any Fan will do as long as they are fanatical and their life revolves around their team. For the really big games their Q charts, at certain times, are very reliable for betting purposes, particularly with a team underdog for a Fan’s benefic Q. Before next season starts, I will give you my fanatical Fan data base.

Well that didn't do too well. Villanova and Syracuse are gone. No billion for me but it is sweet 16 now.

West coast teams are represented with UCLA, Stanford, San Diego State and Arizona. UCLA is strong with Uranus/AC square Pluto and Jupiter but I don't think the population will be much affected by a win.

Do you think something interesting will happen in LA this month, Jim?

East coast did poorly with only Florida and UConn left.

Teams with close angular Saturn in the March 25 Caplunar are strongly represented by Iowa State, Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. Louisville plays Kentucky and should advance.

Michigan, Michigan State, Virginia, Baylor and Dayton round out the field.

Baylor vs Wisconsin is interesting. Wisconsin with angular Saturn. Baylor with angular Moon square Mars. Could that indicate the local masses are excited by athletics?

Hi Debbie,

FWIT, without more research, and from analysis of last season’s football games, I do not believe we can rely upon the ‘New Tool’ for consistently picking a winner of a major sporting contest, except for when there are ‘out of the ordinary’ circumstances involving a championship game. Since the Gators are in the National Championship hunt, do you know of anyone in your local area with an AA birth time who is huge fanatical Gator Fan, so we may analyze their Q Charts or SLR’s??

Steve,

I'm inclined to agree that ingresses may not foretell winning teams but I want to look at it a little longer.

I have only one Gator fanatic in my file and his SQ2 shows an exact Mars/MC on 3-27, when Florida plays. He also has Neptune 2 degrees from IC and natal Uranus 1 degree off AC.

He is also invested in a betting pool with Florida winning it all.

Yes, his Q’s for March 27th could indicate malefic action pertaining to his Gators, but I could not bet against his Gators because sp Jupiter is partile conjunct his angular natal Sun. Also his demi-lunar March 28th is very benefic with Jupiter- Uranus-Pluto very tight conj. the angles.

He is also invested in a betting pool with Florida winning it all.

This is interesting! With his most benefic March 28th demi-lunar (‘Thank you Lord Aspect with an Angular Jup-Ur) and sp Jupiter partile conj his angular Natal Sun, Florida could indeed win “it all.” I will pass on any betting action on Florida for tonight. If the Gators make it to final 4, depending on point spread or ML I may make some wagers on the Gators winning it all. If the Gators make it to final 4—will later look at his Q’s. We may have a high percentage winning bet(s) if Gators make it to final 4.

Hi Debbie,
So far, your Gator Fan Mar 28th demi-lunar is manifesting in a benefic way with the Gators making the final 4. Will this benefic demi-lunar symbolize the Gators winning the National Championship? I don’t know. His secondary progressed Naibod Chart has transiting Mars partile conjunct his sp Saturn on April 7th National Championship Day, and t. Saturn 1,23 from a 90 to his sp MC—enough malefic symbolism to possibly experience his Gators not winning the NC game. The only noteworthy Q is his March 5th SQ with SQ Venus partile 90 his SQ MC, but the Gators will be favored in the March 5th game preventing a high percentage winning bet for the Gators. His sp Venus is partile conj Natal MC but partile 90 sp Saturn. I suspect this has to do with a longer term cycle (maybe some type of romantic separation), so we will see if the short term demi-lunar will carry him to a National Championship for his Gators. I see no high percentage winning wager unless the Gators are an underdog in the March 5th semifinal game.

Steve,
Thanks for taking a closer look at the chart. I missed some things so I learned from your analysis.

Yesterday, at 5:00pm I received the data of a rabid Kentucky fan. If I had more time I would have made a ML wager on KY but I couldn't do the calculations fast enough as the game started at 5:05pm. I thought his NQ2 showed a very happy experience with transit Jupiter conjunct AC and PVenus square AC.

We now have 2 charts of rabid fans, both in a betting pool, rooting for different teams next week.

Kentucky fan data: July 14, 1978 at 9:31am in Owensboro, KY.

Hi Debbie,
Just started my analysis for the Kentucky Fan and BAM, right off the bat, we see secondary progressed (sp) SSR Moon partile 180 SSR Uranus & T. Uranus (for pure thrill/excitement) AND T. Jupiter & Pluto is partile 90 sp SSR Moon. You know how much emphasis I place on sp SSR Moon with partile aspects. This means sp SSR Moon is hard wired into the T-square of Jupiter/Uranus/Pluto with partile aspects and this lasts through-out the entire NCAA Tournament. Also the April 1st demi-lunar is another BIG BAM featuring:

Asc: 17,03 Gem with Jupiter 16,35 Gem partile conj. Asc, partile 90 Sun, partile 135 Venus, partile 90 Uranus on the Zenith (Thank you Lord Aspect). Pluto 18,36 Sag for intensity and dramatics. My dear girl, I think you have found us a high % winning bet with Kentucky -2 verses Wisconsin ML -135, but I need to do full analysis for any possible negating factors.

Great Steve,
I took a quick look at Gator fan and noted NQ2 had PJupiter conjunct Natal Sun on AC on March 5. His SSR has 15.17 degree Gemini AC so it plugs into the Jupiter/Uranus/Pluto T-square as does his demi-lunar with Jupiter 59 minutes from DC.

I like the KY/FL ml parlay because Florida is favored by 6 1/2, too many points for me. More later.

Looking closer I found another positive and some negative in Gator fan's charts. Transit Jupiter is partile square his natal Vertex for the positive.

For the negative he has TMars partile conjunct natal Mercury which is square his natal MC. My guess is Florida wins over UConn but in a close game so the "Thank the Lord" plays out.

This is what you want to see with Q’s; P or T Planets with either N or P planets crossing the angles simultaneously, as a general rule, more potent than a single factor crossing an angle. Then Judge your own Q’s trying to determine how much to bet. Be very leery of Neptune wired into your Q angles, clouds the judgement and makes you read with wrong judgement. Saturn wired into Q angles you can still win, but bet conservatively.

You can win with Jupiter Neptune Combos as long as they are not afflicted with any malefics. But, don’t let the illusion of Neptune put you in a psychological mind set you are on a winning roll. When successfully gambling with Jupiter Neptune aspects, use a very discipline money management system where the illusion of Neptune can’t take away all your winnings or cause large losses. Ebertin says about Jupiter-Neptune:

Principle: Speculation
Sociological Correspondence: Speculators
Positive Probable Manifestation: Gain without effort
Negative Probable Manifestation – Losses

I was born with a rising Jupiter 1,19 semisquare Neptune. This has manifested in my life as lots of speculations with making fast money (‘gain without effort’) but eventually loosing all of the fast money with the illusion of Neptune that I could keep winning easy money. It was not until I discovered Ebertin’s delineations about Jupiter-Neptune symbolism with speculation/gambling, did I learn how to temper this very important natal aspect pertaining to my life of speculation and gambling.

We cannot impose our wills on nature unless we first learn what her will is. Working without regard to natural law brings nothing but failure; working with natural law enables us to do what at first seemed impossible. Astrology has much to do with an important natural law of nature.

Hi Debbie,
I have completed my Sidereal Astrology analysis for the Kentucky Fan, which is my individual analytical process for determining high % winning bets based on Vegas point spreads & money lines (ML). I can find no negating acute angular malefic activity, with my analytical approach, which would indicate the Kentucky Wildcats will not win the NCAA Basketball Championship. The Kentucky Fan has outstanding acute benefic activity for their immediate environment with an additional benefic chart to add to my previous posts pertaining to the Kentucky Fan’s Sidereal Charts.

In SF, under Current Settings change the Angle Progressions to Naibod in RA. Naibod’s Angle Progressions with the Secondary Progressions of the Kentucky Fan’s Natal Planets produces an absolute outstanding chart with acute planetary symbolism, including transits, which covers the entire time period of the Final Four. In order to compute this chart with SF (a picture is worth a thousand words), highlight the Kentucky Fans Natal Chart and compute the Naibod chart for March 5th 9:30 PM, making sure you relocate the chart to the Fan’s current residence, ST Petersburg Florida. Here is what this Naibod Chart produces:

ASC: 16,32 Virgo
MC: 17,57 Gem
SP Venus 17,18 Virgo partile conj. ASC and partile 90 MC—a most powerful Venus.
EP: 19,01 Virgo
SP Pluto 20,18 Virgo

But the current Heavens, with their transits, gets more interesting in a most benefic manner for our Kentucky Fan when we produce a bi-wheel below:

Image

Note T Jupiter partile conj SP MC
Note T Jupiter partile 90 T Uranus (Ebertin’s ‘Thank you Lord Aspect) falling on SP MC & DC
Note T Jupiter partile 90 SP Venus producing a transiting Jupiter Paran with SP Venus.
T Pluto tight conj SP IC for intensity & dramatics.

SHAZAM! A MARVELous benefic chart, IMO. Betting strategies later.
