I have recently gone over the 5th harmonic aspects in my chart after reviewing a previous thread on the subject, and 2 of the objects seem to fit my like a glove, which are Mars/Neptune. This planetary duo is described as dopamine driven,
...individuals born under strong Mars-Neptune vibrations have a tendency to take themselves too seriously. They expend a tremendous amount of energy in behalf of their ideals or, in symbolism, their visions - to the degree where each and every hankering becomes nearly an obsession.
What I wanted to know is if this celestial duet was also high for people with neurotransmitter imbalance and even ADHD.Mars-Neptune is the "spoiled brat" aspect of birth-charts. The aggressive instincts of Mars when filtered through the vagueness of Neptune behave like Stephen Leakcock's rider who mounted his horse and rode off in all directions.
My life has become like that now, although I probably never noticed that it already was, I basically started out with small goals, and when I projected those onto people, and they withdrew from me in anyway was when I noticed my largest struggles with depression. It has basically turned into, if I get rid of this stretch mark, get a nip tuck here or there, get the best grades, I'll be happy, but that surge in dopamine never converts into serotonergic contentment and bliss like it should for some reason. In fact that fanatical zeal is probably a symptom of the frontal lobe not functioning properly after being exposed to excessively high levels of dopamine. What I first noticed myself saying when I was noticing the signs of major depressive disorder, runaway ADD, and anxiety was "I just want to be content". Neptune and Mars is sort of that dangling a carrot stick in front of the rabbit's face, if the rabbit somehow manages to break free from the trap and get the carrot he immediately realizes the carrot tastes nothing like he expected it to taste, in fact it usually tastes awful if the rabbit is not prepared to deal with the reality.
