What to make of June 10

High energy, stress, anxiety, drama, unexpected tension, muscle, leg soreness, indecisive or preoccupied, egotistical, busy, brisk, brash, insecurity, memorable, vivid. Weather was more hot and more windy than typical. Personal timeline events included feeling energetic upon waking, being more productive in an organized or prioritized way, becoming preoccupied with routine or habit, then an unexpected lunch with girlfriend, a dull and light habitual, fairly insignificant workout, discovering my clogged toilet for no apparent reason, running into parents at shopping center (haven't seen them in a month but was going to call them that day) , co-worker told me I made a fairly bad mistake, another co-worker was suppose to call but didn't, witnessed a minor but memorable car accident, allot of replaying of thoughts, images, business, restlessness, didn't sleep well. These are some of the feelings I think I experienced yesterday. It seems to me the full moon was still in effect quite large. Moon in Sagittarius playing a major role. Personal transit wise, I don't see where I might have these perceptions because I don't recall having had these seemingly impactful, memorable events yesterday. The only difference between 9th and 10th is TMoon in Sag.

When I read your description, I thought at once that it sounded like a Mars transit. But Mars has cleared all of your planets, and doesn't seem to be hitting anything new in your natal or SSR.
Pluto is getting really close to your Sun, but I don't see why that would single out Saturday specifically. (You're in Valpo, right?)

Mars is on his POF.
Mercury is opposing his Venus (unexpected date and meeting parents).

Mars is on his POF.
Ah... or, to state it differently, his Moon/Ascendant midpoint (16°40' Pisces) is conjunct the midpoint of natal Sun and transiting Mars.
Seems a bit obscure, but it's the best Mars-luminary transit (or sorts) anyone has come up with so far.

Progressed Saturn was 30' past conjunct natal Mars on Saturday. Not a luminary contact. Only luminary contact I see is still transiting Pluto conj natal Sun. That's also about 30' past exact, but Pluto is retrograde, and there are going to be at least three more passes.

POF is indeed an important point in the horoscope.
Here are the calculation methods, different for day and night births.

Transiting Neptune sesquisquaring James' natal Mars (too), perhaps?

But we're looking for something that distinguishes the one day from the day before or after.

Well he does have t.Neptune at Zenith in his current SLR...that Neptune-Mars transit may be the highlight of this lunar month of his, or maybe not.
Did this sequence of events happened only on that day, or has anything similar happened to him along the days before and after this? (Jamescondor, I suppose this is more of a question to you rather than to Jim...)
