"Walk of Death" murders

What history records as America's first mass murders occurred at the above date etc. They were executed by Howard Unruh in what came to be called the "Walk of Death," as he strolled for 12 minutes through his neighborhood and killed 13 people (including 3 children).

This came to light this week because a little boy involved, Charles Cohen (who hid in a closet while hearing Unruh shoot his parents) is the grandfather of one of the children at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida. It made a good human interest story, and alerted me to this early, infamous case. Unruh, btw, was born January 20, 1921, 11:00 PM, Haddonfield, NJ according to his birth certificate (though often reported as January 21 (perhaps as a typo).
