The name of this Forum is Solunars which was the name of Cyril Fagan’s columns in American Astrology magazine. These columns are where Fagan extended his great astrological mind with his work. Cyril Fagan was known as the father of Sidereal Astrology by Siderealists. Solunars are Solar & Lunar Return Charts. Cyril Fagan was a great historical researcher in the field of Astrology. His greatest historical discovery: The ancient astrologers were using Solar Return computed in the Sidereal Zodiac as their chief tool for prognostic purposes. This discovery allowed Fagan to realize a great astrological truth: For over 2000 years (still continuing today) 99% of astrologers were not computing an accurate timed Solar Return because they were computing their Solar Returns in the Tropical Zodiac which was giving a false TIME for their Solar Returns. In my 37 years of studying astrology, using an AA rated timed birth, I have not found any method of astrology that can come close for achieving par-excellent prognostic sight than a Sidereal Solar Return and its methods of interpretation provided by the mind of Jim Eshelman.

Jim Eshelman, the host of this forum, has written the definitive book on Solar Returns, ‘Interpreting Solar Returns.’ This book was allowed by Fagan’s above great astrological historical discovery. If Fagan had been alive to read this book he would have said he could not have written a better Solar Return book-- which explains in detail how to interpret a Solar Return. Fagan never wrote a book about Solar Returns. Unfortunately this book is out of print and this is WHY I am constantly quoting Jim’s words from this book, but my words on this forum about Jim’s book does not do justice compared to a serious study of Jim’s book by the discerning student of astrology—much is lost because Jim’s book has to be understood in the context of his whole book. If I owned the copyrights of this book, I would spend my own money and reprint as many copies as necessary, and give them away for free to interested members on this forum, asking then to donate to Jim's great work with this book.
