Donald Bradley's Family Background

Donald Bradley had a nephew named David Lee Harris. Recently I corresponded with his wife Maxine Harris. She told me the maiden name of Donald Bradley’s mother was Marie K. Kahm, born in 1905. Marie K. Kahm Bradley later became Marie Williams and died in 1996 in Westminster (Orange County) California. According to the familysearch.com website, Marie K. Williams was born July 21, 1905 outside the United States in an unnamed country and died on October 29, 1996. The website gives her father’s last name as Kahm.
Donald Bradley’s father was also named Donald Bradley and Maxine thinks his middle name was DeForrest. She thinks he’s the same Donald DeForrest Bradley who was born on December 24, 1903 in Missouri and died in San Francisco December 6, 1979. According to David Harris, Donald’s father was “not in the picture very long.” He was raised by his grandparents, Albert E. and Mary Parris, after his mother, Lillie Blanch Parris Bradley, died in 1904. David described his uncle as a “very colorful and fascinating individual.”
I thought this information would be the key to Donald Bradley’s birth certificate and this would finally settle the question of his time of birth. Unfortunately, you can’t obtain a Nebraska birth certificate unless you can prove the person has been dead for fifty years. Otherwise, you have be a sibling, a parent or guardian or the person named on the birth certificate. Donald died April 24, 1974 in Tucson so it will be six more years before his birth time can be confirmed.
