Perhaps it will lessen the feeling of burden, I will see next year. But my partner hasn't really gone into serious discussion about divorce yet... he has mentioned it I think once when he felt like I needed to be better to him in our relationship and when I said to him that I would not discuss anything about a divorce until he had fully and finally made up his mind, he didn't mention it again. The Saturn Pluto energy has been very heavy and maybe it will be lifted off me or lessened next year with relocating the SSR. However, I must admit that I don't regret one moment of solitude with all the research I did, I have learned extremely much in this period although it has been heavy. Like Jim said before I relocated to Edinburgh, I do enjoy solitude and my own company and sometimes I don't really want to be around people (Plutonian effect).

I understand Arena---but you should understand the Saturn/Pluto=Asc is not in your 2017 SSR, your 2018 SSR, but you are already mentioning 'burdens.'

I've done some moving around, from the east coast of the US to the west, back east, to the midwest, north and south on both coasts. I've lived all over. I've also visited all over, but seldom when a new SSR is setting up.

In my experience, just as your natal chart is always with you, the SSR that set up where-ever you were at the time, is always with you. So if your SSR sets up in Virginia, and you move from there to Southern California, your VA SSR goes with you, but you also get a new set of angles that are sensitive to transits in California, and I don't know if they're more or less sensitive to progressions (not enough data.)

I've never gone somewhere, passed a few days over the SSR, then returned, but it feels right that it doesn't matter, your SSR sets up where you are at the time, even if you're only there just for the SSR. I would, however, if trying to avoid "bad angles" spend a couple of days either side of the SSR in the chosen place, because there's a lot we don't know about this stuff.

Exactly! The more we are able to explore--- the more we will learn. :)

T. Saturn has been moving back and forth around my natal DSC and T. Pluto back and forth around my natal MC, so their energies are already in play in my life for a long time and they will be in transit around my natal MC for some time to come. See here (https://www.solunars.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2047). In fact they will each hit my angles again this summer, right around my birthday and into the fall and then again next year. But if their burden can be lessened a little bit, then that would be greatly appreciated.

I think you may be right JSAD, both charts/angles play a part.
I know this now with my natal chart vs relocation chart, both chart angles are playing a part now. So by moving you add more angles to watch.

Yes Arena, I see your point about t. Saturn on n. Dsc & t. Pluto on MC with burdens, and then t. Saturn later in your 2018 solar year all over your n. Dsc with slow motion. In this case, I don't believe we will be able to get a good read if your relocated 2018 SSR will lessen the effects of Edinburgh SSR Saturn/Pluto=Asc. Anyway, have a great vacation. :)

Even if the "on vacation" (where it set up) SSR has the value some of these examples are suggesting, I don't think "lessen the effect" is exactly the right nuance. I think what we would be looking at is more "tell a parallel story," or "have additional different effects concurrently." I'm certain the "where you are actually living" effect will go away, but it won't be the only thing.

For example, after Marion's Jupiter-Uranus etc. SSR set up here a few days ago, she flew to Atlanta yesterday, where her SSR EP exactly conjoins her Sun. I expect that, as in past visits to the city, she'll be a "shining star" four her four-day business trip. That quality will then withdraw when she returns to LA and picks up the other angles.

Yes in this case probably it won't prove much for us since there is that Saturn Pluto energy on the natal angles. Also notice how close they are on the day of the SSR. SSR Saturn is 2,32° from n. DSC and SSR Pluto is exactly 1° or partile natal MC.

Yes, I do think the ecliptical transits are the correct way to view these SSR transits to natal angles; but, just in case that's wrong, let me mention that, due to the particular geometry of your birth chart, transiting Pluto 1°00' from conjunct your MC ecliptically is also exactly conjunct your 11th cusp (0°04')!

FWIW, precessing your SSR backwards to your birth date, and putting it in the framework of your natal mundoscope (for given birth time), Pluto is 26°31' from MC, i.e., near your 11th cusp. Saturn is 1°41' above your natal Dsc. Even closer, SSR Moon is 1°54' above your natal Asc.

But I think the ecliptical transits ae what matter.

I will be staying at Lake Como for the first week of August. This means Sun is closest to angle followed by a wide Jupiter square to Asc and a wide conjunction of Mars to Asc.

We are now looking into my partner possibly having to try to get a better paid job within 6 months since his job at Edinburgh Uni does not pay enough for us to sustain our living standards. His upcoming SSR in Edinburgh has Moon (partile) and Sun on the angles, and Jup close to Asc and the Moon. I hope it will help us to bring more money in through his job/s.

Hopefully the Jup will help him get a better paid job.

During our holidays in Iceland now (as my current SSR is coming to an end) we are discussing a plan to get married here in Iceland next Christmas or next summer, as well as the possibility to move further south in Europe to have more Sun in our lives :) ...Relocating my current SSR to RVK shows Jupiter within 2° from Asc, but these kind of plans are also possible with the SSR angles in Edinburgh where it occurred last year...although I haven't thought it to be very descriptive of this year in general.

My 47th trip around the Sun has started and I was in a little village called Lierna at the time. It's been really hot here in Italy. Had a really nice birthday driving up to the north end of the lake and stayed on the beach. The scenery here is totally amazing!

https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lake+ ... 60&bih=512

Richard Branson and George Clooney have their villas across the lake from us 😉

Just noticed that SSR Mars falls almost exact on my relocated MC to Edinburgh while SSR Moon&Uranus square it.

Been going through all upcoming lunar returns... wanted to put them in here for reference for the whole year, if there seems to be any particular month during this solar year that stands out (partile angularity or within 3°).

These are for 23.40 birth time.
28. Sept. Natal nodes partile SLR MC. Natal Nep within 3° from SLR DSC.
26. Oct. SLR Nep partile SLR DSC. Natal Nep on SLR IC.
19. Dec. SLR Moon within 2° from SLR MC. (Moon partile trine Pluto).
16. Jan. SLR ASC within 3° from n. Jup and n. Mer sq SLR MC.
12. Feb. SLR Venus sq. SLR MC, almost partile.
11. Mar. SLR Ur sq SLR MC 2°.
8. Apr. SLR Sun sq. SLR ASC within 3°.
5. May. SLR IC conj. n. Pluto and sq. n. Jup.
29. June. SLR POF partile the IC and conj. n. Mer. SLR DSC partile conj. n. JUP and partile sq. n. Pluto while the SLR ASC is within 1,5° from n. Venus and SLR Venus not far away.

Four outstanding lunar returns during the year if birth time is 23.40. Slightly different if birth time is a few minutes earlier.

Adding: There is also a Moon-Uranus incident indicated in the SSR in about 3 months from birth date, beginning of November. It is in tight square to SSR Mars and trine to Saturn. Emotional thrill of some sort, possibly passionate, possibly injury, possibly a mixture of something sudden/unforeseen ... some kind of change. But that timing coincides with the Oct 26th LR with a double Neptune symbolism.

Testing SSR's concurrent angularity of planets

Post by Arena » Sat Sep 08, 2018 6:28 am

Well, it will be interesting for me to see what outcome this particular SSR will have, living in the turmoil times of the upcoming Brexit in March 2019... will I stay or will I go depends on the UK government and possibly special rules for Scotland since Sturgeon is very keen to strengthen Scotlands ties to the Nordic countries.

Anyway, I find it interesting to kind of test the SSR even though I have to admit that last year's SSR did not turn out as the sidereal concurrent angularity indicated at all... it rather turned out exactly as the tropical solar return indicated with Moon-Saturn conjunction on an angle, a very depressive year.

This year's SSR local concurrent angularity within 5° is Saturn and Jupiter with tr. & s. Mercury partile square MC while tr. Pluto is partile n. MC and tr. Mars partile conj. rel. MC as well as tr. Nep sq rel. ASC and tr. Moon partile rel Ax or sq rel. MC ..the Moon is conj Uranus which is partile sq. rel. MC. So lots of things to consider actually.

To add to the picture of the concurrent angularity of Sat&Jup, tr. Saturn is conj. n. Jup and tr. Jup is quinc n. Saturn.

However, the solar return happened when I was in Italy and that would mean SSR Sun&Mars widely on SSR angles as well as a wide sq from Jupiter to SSR AC and the SSR MC partile n. Neptune.

I find it hard to use the aspectary interpretations in this website and others when there are more than two planets involved, f.ex. Mercury-Jupiter is very positive while Mercury-Saturn is negative... but when they are all three involved the interpretation needs a different angle. So I decided to look to Ebertin's COSI to gain the insight of three planets in aspect (or concurrent angularity).

Starting with the local SSR and looking at the concurrent angularity affecting the SSR MC and rel. MC which may have to do with work and home, counting from the closest to angle:
Mercury&Uranus partile squares, Moon wider square, n. Moon partile conj. SSR IC, Mars partile conj. rel. MC, Jupiter wider conjunct SSR MC.
Rel. MC; Moon-Uranus-Mars indicates excessive ambition or acting rashly, possibly violence or injury. It indicates emotional excitability, sudden experiences/changes. With Mercury involved can mean sudden news, a surprise.
SSR MC; Mercury-Jupiter-n.Moon; Far-reaching plans, a large sphere of thinking, the urge to learn, successes through speaking/writing, successful plans, large-scale projects or ventures, good business associations.
Mixture; Jupiter, Uranus and Moon affecting the MC angle can mean very fortunate turns in life, can mean a windfall of money and can also just travelling.

Planets affecting the SSR ASC and rel. ASC. are SSR Saturn and SSR Neptune which could be very negative as in a depressed state, misfortunes in dealing with others, disappointments, even losses ... but with the influence of n. Jupiter in close conj. to that Saturn and the SSR Jup on angle, I am hoping it will be on a more positive note.

So the message of all these planets on angles are very mixed and difficult to say if it is more likely to be successful with those far-reaching plans or if all will be lost and a huge disappointment.

Adding the angularity of Italy means Sun, Mars and Jupiter which can mean being positive and optimistic, the act of taking possessions, successful activity. With the n. Neptune to that SSR MC may mean that I react with finding things unreal or confusing or it can also mean highly imaginative.

I am particularly interested in testing the Saturn-Jupiter triply iterated picture.
t. JUPITER & t. SATURN
"...it presages a long-term period of sobriety, settledness and stability. Contracts are drawn up and signed, property is purchased and frequently mortgaged and the native settles down to a humdrum if beneficial daily routine. ... Mutual configurations of Jupiter and Saturn denote inheritance, trustee property and the like where the interest only is expendable."
Look specifically at the underlined.
I have an idea to test this. I viewed a really GRAND house this summer, but it was in connection to other people who were looking into buying it. I was the contact and I went with them. I had seen the house on the market for a very long time, both for sale and also for rent. It is a HUGE house, too big for a single family and it is VERY expensive. Therefore it did not sell (I think). I totally fell in love with it and can't get it out of my head :) It has a very grand and impressive entrance that has a big WOW factor. When I was there with the party viewing it, the owner of the house was there and he handed me his card and said I would have to come to his restaurant. He did not give anyone else his card. And now my mind is planning to make him an offer of something like a "trustee property", a lease with the option to buy (if that becomes possible for us within 2-3 yrs)...but at the same time being like a trustee in the sense that I will be able to live there with my family (instead of the house standing empty) as well as be allowed to utilise the rest of the house renting out short-term room by room (four extra bedrooms as well as the extra apartment on the top floor). This way I will be able to test the income possibilities to see if the income can actually cover future mortgage payments and I can seek planning permission to make some changes to the house so all that extra space will have a separate entrance. And if it turns out that it will be impossible for us to buy it within the contract time, then it will just be considered as rent and he can put it back on the market.

I've also noticed a growing interest within me in creating art (double Nep). I want to start painting to bring out the positive manifestation of Neptune. The need to do art started a few months back and might be connected to the back and forth transit of Neptune which squares the rel. AC.

I must make a note of the SSR Moon in conjunction with SSR Uranus and they both square the rel. MC, Ur makes a partile square. That could indicate something that might be very different from the "settledness and stability" that the Jup-Sat indicates. Or it might also indicate the sudden change that is all in connection to this. The fact that the SSR Moon will also move into a square to Mars and trine to Saturn as it is conjunct Ur is a bit worrying though. Who knows... very curious to find out and hence I will make the proposal to test my planets :)
