Kilauea eruption

May 3, 2018, late afternoon, Mount Kilauea, Hawaii (19N25'16", 155W17'12")
Mount Kilauea in Hawaii erupted yesterday. It has been rumbling and gurgling for a while, and yesterday, following a 5.0 magnitude earthquake, it broke open. (By another standard, it has been in continuous eruptuon since 1983.) I have no specific time of the eruption beyond "late Thursday afternoon." Mandatory evacuations removed 1,700 people from the expected path.
