New York Times described the late Ed Sadlowski as "a fireball labor leader whose militant insurgency in the 1970s shook but failed to dislodge the steelworkers union's top brass." He was known for "confrontational rhetoric" and great passion.

Sadlowski, a Leo-Pisces, was born in Chicago on September 10, 1938, hour unknown. His chart's strongest aspect is a 2° Mercury-Mars conjunction in Leo, with the "struggle your way up" Mars-Saturn sesqui-square. His Leo Sun, a few degrees from Neptune, was partile trine Uranus.

I remember him from 1970s and '80s astrological writings, praising his Tropical signs: A Virgo Sun showing his commitment to laborers, his Aries Moon for his firebrand nature. I see where they were coming from - especially with the Tropical view that Virgo is related especially to labor - though I also see his life and character well- represented by his Sidereal luminary signs and primary aspects.

He died June 10, 2018, in Fort Myers, FL after years of dementia. I see no significant transits. A birth time would have been nice.
