Mars signs and hitting close to home

I can't yet relate to my luminary signs well quiet yet, however my mother can, and my sister's don't suit her yet (hoping they will in time).
However, all of us (even my mother) display our Mars signs the most. My mom was and is rebelous as both her Sun and Moon say, but her Mars hits so close she stoped doing the dish she was cleaning and gave me a look that was down right scary.
My sister's Mars sign is in her tropical suns sign, I am the same way. We always made Gemini jokes about her (but we aren't kidding when we say two people), it seems that essence is systematically unavoidable.
In all of this [and I will study this closer, maybe it's a family thing] it seems all of us relate to our Mars signs more than than our luminaries. Maybe the traits are just more refined than the Sun and Moon signs, however it is these Mars signs themes that consistently show (even layered underneath the luminaries) almost like they are our under/interior motives/actions.
I doubt they are stronger than the luminary sign however they (in the case of my biological family) cut deeper.
