Picking the best time for an event using astrology

If I was going to initiate a task/operation that is for example, Jupiter-like in nature, how would I best pick a time?
1) Should my reference point be from where I was born, where I intend to initiate the event, or where I want the effect to take place (if available)?
2) Since I won't always have time to wait for a planet to enter its ruling sign, would waiting for an angular expression of Jupiter make the most sense? Is there a particular type of angle that is most sensible for setting events into motion?

Yes, without a doubt! And of course, the closer to the angle the better! And depending on the Sidereal Chart used you should always use the mundoscope in measuring closeness to the angle. Jupiter expands things in a benefic manner, either materially, mentally, or spiritually. For choosing which angle given a choice in selecting 'times,' I prefer the Asc or MC, the MC with clear cut objectives/motives. If relationship driven motives, the Asc or Dsc, with first choice the Dsc. And don't forget the EP-WP axis as potent auxiliary angles.
And then, consider the lights in combo aspect with Jupiter, particularly the Moon because of its emotional impact. Main aspects in Sidereal Astrology, the 0,90,180, with preference the conjunction, IMHO.

It’s ‘where’ you are expecting the personal objective to take place. For example: Whenever I am planning a vacation or traveling objective, I always want to relocate my Sidereal Charts to the travel destination; otherwise, set-the charts-up for your normal residing location.

Exactly, based on my personal experience and other Sidereal Astrologers who have stated the same.

Good luck girl. Try to have as much social fun as you can with the Venus-Jupiter, and who knows for sure, you may come out a winner $ wise.

thank you Steve! I am sure Im gonna be Lucky in some shape or form. if anything, I am lucky right now even before I go because I am happy today.
If I am really lucky I will get to see a fun concert with a friend, maybe a horse race, maybe a seafood buffet and maybe if I work the slots right I will get a nice piece of cake to take home. I have a system for the slots. I take 50 bucks and turn it into fives and keep that in one pocket. I play five dollars ina machine. when/if my winning go over that five, I cash it out and put the whole ticket in my other pocket. then I use another five and do the same thing. I allow myself the mind set that I am going to spend the 50. so if I am lucky enough to have any tickets in my other pocket at the end of the night "WE HAVE A WINNER HERE!!" it usually lets me play the machines for a few hours building up all those good hormones and such and not walking out feeling like a dump. we shall see how those dice roll tonight. maybe I will bring a sprig of my oak tree for luck, being as She is at 77.7n 43.7 w.

Yes indeed, but an even better time would be if you could get this t Jupiter angular with tight cnj orbs in one of your SLR angles during this time period. If you happen to get this transit partile cnj an angle (use mundoscope), plan a possible gambling trip on the day of the SLR, provided you have no partile or tight 0,90,180 Saturn transits to natal factors. Also check for the same criteria with t. Venus for exciting benefic social/relationships.
