Mars station chart

Post by Jim Eshelman »

I don't know if a chart for the moment Mars turned retrograde is astrologically significant - but its an attractive idea that it may be. What I found particularly interesting in it is that, for Washington, DC, specifically, Mars had numerous connections (parans in this case) to the brightest Scorpio and Capricorn stars - the constellations where Mars has dignity.

For a chart June 26, 2018, 5:04:21 PM EDT, Washington, DC:

241°38' Acrab on MC (Beta Scorpii)
242°29' Mars rises

313°00' Mars on MC
313°57' Antares on Dsc (Alpha Scorpii)

23°30' Mars on Dsc
23°38' Giedi Prime sets (Alpha Capricornii)

Mars also culminated when the brightest star in Cetus rose, and set when the Praesaepe cluster in Cancer rose.

I don't know what, if anything, this means, but it's interesting considering what our streets look like in the immediate aftermath. Mars' closest contact is with the brightest star in the constellation of the Nanny!
