At Veronica's request, I agreed to take a look at the charts for murderer Arthur Shawcross, "The Rochester Strangler." He was born June 6, 1945, 4:14 AM, in Kittery, ME (B data), according to The Misbegotten Son by Jack Olson.

Shaw, initially a "weird kid," became something of a modern day Jack the Ripper, credited with killing 13 prostitutes among other crimes (the strangling of a 10-year-old boy, sexual molestation and murder of a little girl), etc. The boy he strangled was Jack Blake, killed May 7, 1972, 12:30 PM, Watertown, NY; the girl was raped and murdered September 2. After serving 2 years of an initial 25-year prison term, he began killing prostitutes in Rochester, NY (beginning March 1988) and was caught and convicted a second time.

He died from a heart attack November 10, 2008, 9:50 PM in Albany.


He was a Taurus-Pisces. (If he were to become a murderer, one would expect a sex theme as the Taurus became pathologized.) Mercury rises fairly closely, and Uranus more widely.

Uranus is quite an important planet for him, being closely conjunct his Sun. Moon conjoins Mars. Venus and Mars, the most common natal aspect for murderers, are conjunct with a moderate orb. Other important aspects are Sun and Uranus square Jupiter, and Mercury trine Neptune (08').

for me when it was all going down I was struck by where the bodies were blatently found, mercury/Neptune.....like he wanted to get caught dumping them in the open by the water ways which are so popular around here. he was a smug self righteous SOB, who actually took the stand in his trial, like a rock star.

Im not positive when he actually moved here. was his chart relacated to this area, beacuse I forgot to do that when I first looked at him, and looked at the chart from where he was born?
