Judge Brett Kavanaugh, currently undergoing confirmation hearings regarding his appoint to the Supreme Court, was born February 12, 1965, in Washington, DC. No time of birth is presently known.

His Sun is in the last degree of Capricorn, with Moon in Gemini. His strongest aspect is a Jupiter-Neptune opposition, though his Moon-Saturn trine might be quite close.

His chart (so far as we known it without a birth time) is surprisingly short of exact transits right now, though Mars is sesqui-square his Uranus, which is consistent with the commotion being made around him.

If he was born anywhere noon, progressed Moon trines his Sun right now (as it prepares to enter Gemini).

He has a Lunar Return today. That would be most interesting if we had a birth time, I'm sure. All we can really go by are aspects, if which we have:

Sun-Neptune op.
Venus-Mars sq.
Mars-Uranus sq.

Neptune is close enough to op. his natal Uranus-Pluto (a rather interesting aspect set that I wouldn't mind seeing angular). Jupiter aspects his Mercury-Jupiter (quite appropriate, especially if his part of the crazy events goes well for him), Sun not far from his Uranus-Pluto.

Also a tight square n.Mercury/n.Jupiter indicative of his apparent strong moralistic bent.
As well as all the college and law degrees he surely has, hanging on his office wall.

Kavanaugh's wife, Ashley, was born November 4, 1974 in Abilene, TX. It is almost certain that their Moons are conjunct. At noon on their respective birthdates, Moon was 14° Gemini for him, 17° Gemini for her.

Yesterday (September 27) was clearly was clearly a hard, even torturous day for Brett Kavanaugh as Dr. Ford testified and then the judge responded in ferocious (IMHO injudicious) rage. The main transit of the day (absent a birth time) was Venus square his Venus, which seems quite inapplicable. Jupiter conjoined his Neptune, which normallyt lifts clouds of scandal off of one, rather than increasing them. He is near the end of a Lunar Return month.

Pluto is partile opposite his wife's Saturn. This is a longer-term aspect but quite close at the moment. What interests me is that, when Brett returned to testify and (whether authentically or not) broke down while weeping about the impact of this on his family, what held my mind was the idea that Dr. Ford's testimony had shaken his wife badly; and this transit suggests she is vulnerable to that right now. OTOH she is a political wife - her position (and her own career) suggests it and her chart supports it. Such women (I have known many) are tough cookies, often far tougher than their limelight husbands. I approach the idea of her being shaken skeptically because such women are hard to shake except in the sense of feeling what they have long fought for being endangered.

Neptune sesqui-squares her Uranus. She is already visualizing a different world for herself looking forward, the world in which her husband is a Supreme Court justice. She's just passed half a Uranus cycle: She is ready to reinvent herself for the second half of her life.

But Mars squared her Mars - easily in orb yesterday and even closer today. She sees the threat. She experiences herself as at war. She was certainly willing to give voice to this yesterday.

She is also near the end of a Lunar Return month.

Judge Kavanaugh's current lunar return occurred September 4, 2018, hour unknown. Sun opposed Neptune that day. Venus squared Mars. Either could be themes of his month, though it isn't likely (I haven't checked: maybe it's not even possible) that both could be angular at once.

Transits to his natal planets in the SLR that may be of interest - depending on how the month is perceived - include Jupiter opposite his Jupiter and square his Mercury. Sun conjunct his Uranus doesn't seem right for the month. Mercury opposite his Sun is the most neutral aspect. If Jupiter to his Mercury-Jupiter is angular, the Venus-Mars might also be, by some arrangement.

His current solar return has Sun-Mercury square Jupiter, an outstanding aspect for being nominated to the Supreme Court (and, odds remain, being confirmed to it). Mercury also squared his Jupiter. Unless he fails in this, we don't expect the Saturn opposition to his moon - Moon would have to be away from the 11° Gemini region.

The Jupiter clusters (two Jupiters, Sun, Mercury) would be on SSR angles for times of 0:45 AM, 5:45 AM, 10:45 AM, or 5:45 PM, suggesting birth times of (rounding intentionally) of 3:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 3:30 PM, or 8:30 PM.

For the SLR to have Jupiter angular, we'd have SLR times of about 5:15 AM, 12:15 PM, 5:15 PM, and 10:15 PM. These, in turn, give theoretical birth times of 2:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 7:15 PM.

Of SSR-derived possible birth times of 3:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 3:30 PM, or 8:30 PM and SLR-derived birth times of 2:00 AM, 7:00 AM, 11:45 AM, and 7:15 PM. There is no overlap. No time prevails in both theories.

His Demi-SLR occurred September 18. Things were, indeed, a bit different in the second half of the month than the first. A Mars-Uranus square was exact that day and he was indeed blind-sided by surprise attacks in the last half of the month. Venus-Uranus opposition has consistency with other themes, but Mars-Uranus at 6° Rim is more on target. We still have the possibility of Jupiter opposite his Jupiter.

Putting Mars-Uranus on a primary angle gives a theoretical Demi-SLR time of 2:30 AM, 3:15 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, 3:15 PM, 4:45 PM, 8:30 PM, or 9;30 PM. These, in turn, give theoretical birth times of 4:15 AM, 5:45 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:45 PM, 2:30 PM, or 7:45 PM.

With theoretical SSR-derived times of 3:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 3:30 PM, or 8:30 PM, and theoretical Demi-SLR-derived times of 4:15 AM, 5:45 AM, 9:30 AM, 10:30 AM, 1:45 PM, 2:30 PM, or 7:45 PM, we find commonality in a 10:30 AM time. Since previously (at the beginning of this thread) I saw some indications of a birth broadly in the region of noon, this is interesting to me.

So, we can start with a tentative theoretical birth time for Kavanaugh of 10:30 AM, putting his Jupiter-Neptune opposition across the horizon. This does put progressed Moon trine natal Sun for the current month. Though I'm not sure we're at the place to start whittling minutes, it does put transiting Mars close to the SNQ EP for yesterday, though it also has a couple of Venuses that I' not sure fit.

It gives him a current SSR with a Sun-Mercury-Jupiter square on angles. For yesterday's events, only a slightly later time would put transiting Mars and SQ Moon on an angle together.

His SLR which, at the end, was not part of picking the time has Venus most angular, and some Moon and Uranus, with Pluto square Asc. Not bad, not great, and more representative of the first part of the month than the second. His current Demi-SLR ends up having Jupiter on WP atop his natal Jupiter-Neptune, his Mercury - consistent with the hearings themselves and, if it goes that way, both reputation embarrassment and the eventual clearing of his reputation.

Of particular attention, this theoretical time places his wife's partile Sun-Venus conjunction on his natal Descendant - and this wasn't part of the rectification attempt.

After the last couple of days, everybody wants to know if he's a drunk. I don't think so. He's quite willing to imbibe and party: Gemini Moon with Mars in Virgo, and the privileged-but-lush tastes of Jupiter rising opposite Neptune if the time is right. That's adequate but thin for substance abuse.

OTOH, my own personal political concerns is with how much of an ideologue he is - and injudicious - and I think that shows just fine in the chart.

His wife Ashley was George W. Bush's personal secretary. They met - get the date - September 10, 2001, and were part of the White House bunker evacuation the next day.

At the time the Twin Towers were hit (shortly before the Pentagon was hit and the day after he met his future wife), he had Saturn square natal Uranus and Venus square natal Jupiter, with Moon a day or so before his SLR. His SLR for 9/12/2001 (also her SLR day) had Moon-Jupiter rising and Sun on IC, with a bit of Mars, with appropriate natal planets for "the big day." For meeting his future wife the day before, his August 28 Demi-SLR had Venus on MC. His SLR for this birth time was more aggressive, showing more the 9/11 events than the meeting, with Mars rising and a partile Moon-Jupiter conjunction; but it did have Venus square MC.

Senator Collins is voting for Kavenaugh, and he will be affirmed, probably tomorrow.

If I believed everything that Susan Collins believes, I'd be reassured about Kavenaugh. I don't and I'm not, but Mrs. Collins is really good at explaining her thinking. Took her more than 50 minutes to do it. Time well spent in listening.

Manson's having a hard time holding onto his W Va seat so, once it was clear Kavanaugh was going to be approved anyway, he of course decided not to sacrifice his place in the Senate for no good reason.

If my speculative chart for Kavanaugh is correct, his current SLR has Venus on IC square his Venus and Jupiter square Ascendant.
