Hi there! A little help, please?

I did my sidereal birth chart today for the first time and, with the exception of the Leo moon thread I found here (thanks for that!) I could definitely use some help figuring it out and what it means. My birth information is July 14, 1983 at 3:39am in Detroit, Michigan. Thanks for any guidance you can provide me; I'm still learning about the houses, and utterly clueless on degrees.

Houses and degrees (of the signs, I guess?) are generally of interest in tropical and Indian-Vedic-Hindu astrology but we don't use either of those.

There are basic summaries of the planets in the signs in the Constellations section.
There's a section on aspects between planets, and a section on angularity of planets.

Besides the Moon and Venus in Leo, you have Sun and Mars in Gemini, Mercury in Cancer, Saturn and Pluto in Libra, Uranus and Jupiter in Scorpio and Neptune in Sagittarius.

Apart from the constellation descriptions posted by Jupiter, which are given priority in sidereal astrology (Sun, Moon, and Mars sign particular), aspects within 3 degrees are also very important for describing character. Your closest and most important aspects, in order, are Venus square Uranus (2°49), Venus square Jupiter (1°13), Mercury square Saturn (1°04), and Mercury square Pluto (0°03). In sidereal astrology we don't consider squares or other hard aspects as unfortunate configurations as they are considered in the tropical school. Squares, also like other hard aspects, represent a need for expression, a tendency toward activity. In your case activity means a strong impulse toward being free from social contraints in matters of sex and love, and perhaps a need for a bit of distance in the latter, due to your Venus/Uranus square, a strong impulse toward amiability and ingratiating behavior due to your close Venus/Jupiter square, a sometimes solemn and withdrawn comportment as well as a strong need for self dependence, and maybe a little melancholy due to your Mercury/Saturn square, and a strong attraction to the abstract, unusual, and esoteric due to your even closer Mercury/Pluto square. Longer descriptions for each aspect formulated by Mr. Eshelman will be provided below.

Summaries taken from the forum for your Sun, Moon, and Mars sign are provided below:

Sun in Gemini
Jim Eshelman wrote: Sun May 07, 2017 8:23 pm 8.61% of population (~1/12)

SUMMARY: Acute nervous system. Speed, rhythm, variety (dispersion). More reason than belief. Courageous. Rejects forced stratification: “What’s expected” often makes no sense to them. Play, youthful; needs affection, connection; feels loneliness deeply, often alienated. Music, arts, business. Mechanical, technical.

Moon in Leo
Jim Eshelman wrote: Sun May 07, 2017 8:12 pm

SUMMARY (preliminary): Emotions intertwined with pride. Strong, noble, proud, natural leader, courageous, confident, practical, effective, indomitable. Dramatic; seldom pretentious. Gregarious (court of friends & admirers). Entertainer. Discriminating in romance. Needs warm, affectionate interaction; may retain aloof mask. Business over sentiment.

Mars in Gemini
Jim Eshelman wrote: Sun May 07, 2017 7:49 pm
CHARACTER TRAITS:
Significantly high: Poetical, Methodical, Humane
Significantly low: Idealist, Active, Charming, Ambitious

SUMMARY: Bright, inquiring; forthright, decisive (strong opinions). Argumentative (debate, stirs conversation; eloquent?). Pragmatic (not idealistic). Methodical. Scientific mind hones facts, can commit mind to research (scientists). Strength from being heard; otherwise over-compensates. (May "know better than anyone else," need to be right.) Substance abuse.

Thank you both so much! Sotonye, thank you for the links, that's exactly what I was looking for. I wish there were as many resources for sidereal as there are for tropical; before I came here I tried to gather my own info but google mostly gives me links to "sidereal vs tropical: which is more accurate?" And things like that.
