Well, my house was burglarized yesterday. It was completely ransacked, they took all of my jewelry, most of my clothing, and they took the money I had left over, which I was using to pay off my car. Thankfully, I had my laptop at the time because I was studying at the library, or they would have taken that.

I'm so sorry. What did the police say?

Was the money out, or would they have had to look for it?

It was yesterday around 3 maybe 4, everything was just a blur after I realized everything was gone. I think I broke down for about an hour or two before I called the cops. I didn't leave the money out, I had it in my closet in an old duffle bag under dirty clothes. The police weren't that much help, but they did go to a few neighbors and ask if they had seen anything. I filed a police report. I gave them serial numbers for a lot of the higher end designer stuff that I had, but I had a total of 4,000 dollars cash stolen from me, plus another 7-9 thousand in designer clothing and watches. I was planning on selling everything after I ran out of money.

I'm so sorry. It sounds like the thieves knew you had a lot of designer stuff. I hope you had at least some of the stuff on your homeowners policy.

I am so very sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to you. I too had a large sum of money stollen this past spring and we even know e actly who did it. I dont know where you live but you may want to go the local pawn shops and alert them and check the stores as well as consignment stores and look and see if the items are being listed on craigslist.
Thieves usually are addicts and look for quick turn around. Those are the sort of places they can flip things. If your lucky they took the cash and are bindging on there fix right now and have not liquidated the clothes etc yet but are waiting till the cash is gone up thier arm or in there nose.
Flea markets and garage sales ect are anotber place.
Usually thieves do not have the time energy or brain cells to sell on ebay or amazon or LetGo but they may so you can check there too, if your inclined. Sorry to say but unless the police get fingerprints and witnesses.....they cant do much....even if tbey know who did it.
The thing that I am most concetened about though is your feelings, of safety and security and well being. Money and property can be replaced but tbe emotions that arise from such a personal violation are very syrong and deep. It was not your fault. You are not to blame. You had every right to keep your stuff where you wanted. You were strong and smart and hard working enough to amass all of that...honestly and rightfully....and you can and will be able to do it again.
Those who took from you are weak and afflicted and would not be able to do that.
You on the other hand are a Rock Star and will get through this undignified moment in time with personal i tregrity and be able to move forward with grace and style and be even stronger and better then you ever were before.

Yesterday (a day later than the robbery) was a Full Moon exactly conjunct Uranus. this was already queuing up in your chart for a hard personal blow: In addition to Uranus' long-term opposition to your Pluto (08' wide Tuesday), Sun was conjunct your Pluto. That at least would be startling and disruptive.

Then transiting Mars crossed your Midheaven Monday-Tuesday: This was an attack, an invasion.

Thank you all so much for your moral support. I actually have another problem, I was accepted into the pharmacy and nursing program, yet I can't decide which one I want to persue. As well, both programs want money up front, which I just don't have right now.

I've often thought you had the chart of a physician. Whether this translates to nursing, I'm not sure.

It might help give you an answer if you would give for each of these two fields: 3 character traits that you see as matching the successful person in the field and 3 traits that you think are required of someone training for each of them. We can then match these traits to your chart for a best fit.

Nursing:
Being social. I definitely think nurses need to be people persons and enjoy seeing other human faces all of the time.
Workaholism, I think you need to be a workaholic in the nursing field just because it's one of those careers that can dominate most facets of your life.
Being empathetic. You definetly need to be very empathetic when being a nurse because it helps to build rapport with patients.
Pharmacists:
Being social
Being a leader.....As a pharmacist, you will most likely have people working under your so, you have to guide and set good examples for others.
Being empathetic as well.

I guess, I have a problem with my luminaries. In both fields, I don't want to be that person who has to take a moral ground on something I don't agree with. I feel like my luminaries will eventually make me do this in one form or another. On one side, it's good in terms of spotting corruption, but when it comes to direct interaction with clients, it's a bad thing.

I'm not an insanely moral or bigoted person, but I do have beliefs that may be in conflict with popular opinion.

Besides the characteristics you describe above, take a look at the actual working conditions. Pharmacist... do you want to work for CVS? Or another chain? What are the hours? The pay? Rotten hours. Pay is what it is. If you don't work for a chain, you probably work for a hospital, with long hours and petty squabbling.
Same with nursing... you would almost have to work for awhile in a hospital, long hours, night work, but decent pay. And eventually, you could get a job at a local clinic or doctor's office. Not as good pay, but reasonable hours. Or a local emergency clinic... better pay, worse hours.

Pharmacist... do the working conditions get better over time? Not so much. And not as many chances to move into different conditions.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting into nurse practitioner school if I do decide to become a burse.

I dont know if youve seen this book published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics but it is the go to reference guide for occupational information and trends.

My Uncle was a very high level pharmacist for a major drug company and made well over $150k a year as well as TONS of kick backs perks and fringe benifits. When I inquired years ago to him about the industry he quiet honestly said it is a very very hard field for women to be in, very "frat boy sexist stuff" that was 15 years ago.

My state recently made it a reqirement that all nurse have a Masters degree. The book Above I believe gives very detailed breakdowns and insider info.

Many hospitals will pay quiet a bit of your educational cost if you commit to working for them after you graduate. Both of those fields have professional labor organizations and unions that also can help with vosts and have resources for grants and private "Angel Investors/sponsors" if you look and apply.
