Camp Fire

Two major fires in California broke out November 8 and both spread startlingly fast and far. The one in Northern California, called the Camp Fire, is now the deadliest, most destructive fire in California history, after surpassing the prior record of 42 deaths. As of November 25 the fire is not extinguished but is fully contained. The Camp Fire death toll is 85, with 249 people still missing and over 18,000 buildings destroyed, with an estimated cost of $7.5-$10 billion. (It has burned an area the size of Chicago.)

Areas burned, structures destroyed, and people killed are enormous. Sun was rising and Mars (newly in Aquarius) on IC at the time it began. Most of the charts below are quite excellent. The one weakness is that there is no Mars at the day level, something one almost never sees for major fires. Neptune, however, steps in and is almost as primary to fires; and there is plenty of Saturn.
