Planetary Stations/ A Solarfire Technique

A useful SolarFire technique for finding Planetary Stations for a chosen time period. I look for Planetary Stations on the Natal, Solar Return, and Progressed Naboid RA Charts and use a time period of 1 year beginning with Solar Returns (Birthdays).

FINDING STATIONS OF THE PLANETS

When Stationary planets form a conjunction/opposition or close Aspect with Significators in any Radix they are powerful influences and are often overlooked.

To get the Stations of the Planets (i.e., when they turn Retrograde and Direct) from Solar Fire go to the opening screen and continue as below:

1. Click on Dynamic, then Transits and Progressions.

2. In Start Date type the period that interests you, e.g., 1 year.

3. Under "Event Selection" click Transits to Radix and Stationary Points.

4. Under Point Selection click on Transits and in the drop-down box select your choice of transiting planets, e.g., Outers. [If you want other Transits, e.g., from Mercury out, create the appropriate file.]

5. Click on Radix and in the drop-down box select the points to be transited e.g., Outers, or create a special file to suit your purposes.

6. Under Aspect Selection click on Transits and in the drop-down box select NONE.

7. Click on Save Selection and enter a name in the box that appears, e.g., STATIONS, and click OK.

8.Click View and the Planets' Stations will appear alone in a chronological list.
