I have little experience interpreting the July 4th USA national chart, mainly because I find mundane astrology associated with the USA national chart an ambiguous matter since there are many different birth times. Without a reliable birth time the Sidereal Astrologer cannot rely upon the all important delineative symbolism for the accurate degrees of the angles and the moon. However, Jim’s book interpreting ‘Solar Returns’ points out that partile aspects (less than one degree) ‘reign supreme’ regardless where they fall inside a scope wheel. Allowing all reputed birth times to be wrong, when we compute the 09 SSR for the July 4th USA Chart we note there is only one reliable partile aspect-- a conjunction with Jupiter-Neptune. Outer planet aspects, particularly conjunctions, have always been deemed very important in the field of Mundane Astrology. A recent post by Jim prodded me to go back and read some posts made by Jim and me in May of 09 pertaining to possible mundane Jupiter-Neptune symbolism. It was stated:

Reputed to be one of the world’s best mundane astrologers, Andre Barbault has this to say about world cycles associated with Jupiter—Neptune symbolism, paraphrased by the authors of ‘Mundane Astrology’ (written in 1984):

… Barbault relates this (Jupiter-Neptune cycles) particularly to the socialist economies of the Eastern bloc. During elections, Jupiter-Neptune favours a strong left--wing majority.”

Using the adage that ‘hindsight is always 20-20; it would now appear that Barbault did his homework pertaining to mundane cycles of Jupiter-Neptune. Before our eyes we see the USA with a ‘left-wing majority’ passing a ‘socialist economies’—Health Bill! The process since the 09 USA SSR for the passage of this Health Bill has created a News media event for the USA, reporting much anger across the United States. Note the tight square aspect of Mars (anger) to the Jupiter-Neptune partile conjunction and the tight 135 aspect of Mercury (media communications) to the Jupiter-Neptune partile conjunction in the 09 SSR USA Chart. According to Barbault above delineation with mundane Jupiter-Neptune cycles and Jim’s teachings about partile aspects with SSR’S, we can see this partile Jupiter-Neptune in the USA 09 SSR dominating our land on a huge collective level!

The thought just occurred to me, without having the time to research, has there ever been a partile Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in the history of the USA July 4th birth and its SSR’S?

If my eyes did not deceive me the July 4th USA 09 SSR featured the first partile aspect of a Jupiter-Neptune Conjunction in the history of our Nation. Under the heading of Aspect Orbs in Jim’s book ‘Interpreting Solar Returns’, he states:

“Partile aspects (1 degree orb or less) reign supreme. According to my proposed formulae, a conjunction or opposition with a 1 degree orb is at 99% of its maximum strength. Aspects at this high (partile) level of potency are apt to manifest no matter what.”

No, never a partile conjunction. The closest was the conjunction of June 18, 1881. By the time of the SSR, Jupiter was at Aries 26* 01' and Neptune was at Aries 22* 58'.

With Andre Barbault’s mundane research in the 1940’s pertaining to the ten major (outer) planetary cycles with World National Charts, he isolated Jupiter-Neptune cycles as symbolizing …‘socialist economies and elections with a strong left –wing majority…’ Health Care represents one sixth of our total national economy; and, it appears our country’s ‘left-wing majority’ is close to passing a Law for some form of ‘socialist’ medicine. Through the teachings of Sidereal Astrology with Jim’s brilliant work, the astrologer can clearly see the dominating collective effects (‘reigning supreme’) with the first partile Jupiter-Neptune conjunction in the history (09 USA SSR) of SSR’S with the July 4th National Chart. Sidereal Astrology never ceases to blow me away with its precision!
