Here is a summary of what to expect from the most important aspects of the year. Notice that they come and go - I'll give the dates they are exact with the interpretations - but it might give a better feel of the year to read them more like "these are the waves sloshing back and forth through the year.

Jupiter-Neptune (90) (1/13, 6/16, 9/21)
Events of powerful inspiration, faith, and idealism. Compelling surreal optimism. Belief-driven motivation and decision-making (religious-themed); powerful opposing belief and bigotry. Excess, over-abundance, immoderation, glut. Entertainment themes (box office bonanzas, record-breaking movie attendance; for events that were not fun, festive, or celebratory, it typically signals an entertainment-themed setting).

Jupiter-Uranus (135) (1/6, 6/6, 10/14; Trine 12/15)
Ideological rebellion (both peaceful and violent). Remapping the larger social contract (liberal social and political agendas demand wider horizons, expanded opportunities, civil liberties, enhanced diversity). Inventiveness, new technology and tech vision, futurism, “good science” that engages popular imagination. Political and thought leaders show more insight, resourcefulness, and ability to understand and manage complexity. At best, collective optimism and anticipation of good change. Shadow expression: the rise and growth of fascism, or radical nationalism.

Uranus-Neptune (45) (5/1)
High-impact events, explosive and rupturing (physically or psychologically), stirring waves of mass reaction, and overflowing the bounds of conventional thinking and expectations. Stimulates psycho-spiritual evolution, or at least very altered states of consciousness.

Saturn-Neptune (60) (1/31, 6/18, 11/8)
Grief, loss, tragedy, fear, horror, with consequent emotional turbulence and intensified or exaggerated negativity. Sacrifice and renunciation. Resignations, abdications, exiles, and other removals, sometimes due to disclosure of corruption or scandal. Toxic, insidious, paralyzing.

Take a look at that Arisolar which takes the lead for six months!

Furthermore, there is no quarter inconsistent with a dramatic change of leader.

The Arisolar is very destructive - catastrophic - and could represent a very hurtful market crash.

Caplunars of Note

A few Caplunars worth unusual attention.

March 2 Saturn Asc 0°49', Mars IC 1°40', sq mundo 0°51'
Add Moon-Pluto conj. 1°37' etc.

May 29 Asc sq Saturn 1°35', Pluto 1°17' (midpoint 0°09'); Saturn-Pluto conj. 2°52'

June 19 Venus, Jupiter, Neptune on angles (Jupiter least), with 23' Jupiter-Neptune square. Severe Moon aspects with Mercury, Mars, Pluto.

Aug 13 Mars on IC 17', some Jupiter and Neptune

Trump's worst SLRs

April 23 has Mars-Neptune square on angles atop his Uranus.

June 16 Uranus on IC, Saturn-Pluto opposite Mercury-Mars in foreground, Saturn square his Jupiter.

Interestingly, after that he has quite boring, inconsequential SLRs the rest of 2019.

Months ago I noted on my calendar the Saturn-Pluto May 29 2019 Caplunar as timing when the Saturn-Pluto Arisolar could possibly manifest in full force. I think the May 29 2019 Caplunar is a possible test for Bradley’s observation in his book Solar & Lunar Returns where he writes pertaining to Solar & Lunar Returns, but in this case we are applying to Solar & Lunar Ingresses:
Lunar returns, while more powerful in immediate effect, are subservient to the preceding solar return (in this possible test, the 2019 Arisolar). Therefore, we must look to the lunar return (May 29 2019 Caplunar) for proof that lunar returns usually “time” the major occurrences foreshadowed in the annual chart (in this possible test—the 2019 Arisolar.)
If the May 29 2019 Saturn-Pluto Caplunar does time the ‘major occurrences’ for an important manifestation of Saturn-Pluto, we can see where your observations for Trump’s malefic (“one of his worst”) June 16 2019 SLR may have something to do with dealing with a Saturn-Pluto manifestation.

Saturn-Pluto has to do with ‘heavy burdens,’ so we are looking at high probability for some type of heavy burden manifesting. If this 'heavy burden' manifests financially/DOW, I think I already know the fundamental cause. I will later try to post about this possibility. It has to do with something Trump has already discussed with the Federal Reserve officials, but is not widely covered by standard public news outlets.

My boilerplate:

Saturn-Pluto
Harsh, dramatic tragedies or hardship with a sometimes apocalyptic feel: catastrophic disasters with profound feelings of irrevocable loss or separation.

Excellent 'boilerplate' Jim. If this 'boilerplate' Saturn-Pluto manifests financially in the DOW, I know this for sure: The big smart money will see it coming before us!!! And, the DOW will start to go down at a more rapid pace. Technically speaking, this means at some point before the possible manifestations of a financial Saturn-Pluto, the Dow has to breakout to the downside of its 3000 trading range. This leads us to the question? How long can the DOW stay within its 3000 pt trading range? I damn sure don't know, but if (a big if) the Dow is still within its 3000 trading range as we approach the 2019 Arisolar and then we see a breakout to the downside, this will be a good technical sign the Saturn-Pluto will manifest financially in the DOW/world markets.

Jim, with the 2019 Arisolar in mind as to its potential impact. For a 'great' Saturn-Pluto manifestation, would not we have to see a very malefic 2019 Capsolar with the main guidelines of Sidereal Mundane Astrology?

Not necessarily. The Quarter chart could speak on its own, though we expect its impact to be for a shorter duration. In this case, that's not even much of a reduction since, with the Cansolar dormant, the Arisolar owns half the year.

And we do have a malefic Capsolar, though not at the partile angularity level. The two outstanding features of the 2019 Capsolar for Washington IMO are the foreground Sun-Uranus square (partile in RA) and the close foreground Mercury-Saturn conjunction. (Don't think of it as Saturn 6°, which makes it seem a little diminished, but rather as a foreground Mercury-Saturn conjunction.) - It would be a routine timing method to see a negative-leaning Year chart which is then sharpened by a concentratedly harsh Quarter chart.

Meanwhile, you raise a great point about the "nesting" of the effects of the Year and Quarter charts, so let's take a look at their relative behavior: Of 380 events in my SMA catalogue, the Capsolar is non-dormant 268 times. Of these 268 times, it describes the event (+1 score or higher) 241 times, or 90% of the time.

Switching to the Quarter chart when it was not a Capsolar, counting events when Sun is sin Aries-Sagittarius and non-dormant, we have 244 events. Of these, 215 (88%) described the event.

Now, here's where it gets interesting: Of the 215 non-Capricorn Quarter charts that correctly defined the event, the Capsolar was dormant in all but 153. Of these 153 cases, the Capsolar provided a neutral-to-contradictory description in 19 cases. That's only 12%, but that's not trivial. In 12% of the testable cases, the Arisolar, Cansolar, or Libsolar described the event without any help from the Capsolar, and sometimes at odds with the Capsolar.

Here are the event for which the Quarter chart fully described the event and the non-dormant Capsolar either was neutral or mixed, or was outright wrong:

Lisbon earthquake
Sea Islands Hurricane
Hurricane Camille
Grand Harbour Malta tornado
Joplin tornado
Friendship Theater Fire
Blackwater fire
Cerro fire
Yarnell Hills fire
Titanic sinking
Trigana Flight 257
W McKinley shooting
W McKinley death
Princess Elizabeth wedding
Prince William birth
Columbine massacre
Virginia Tech massacre
Sampoong Dept Store collapse
Greek debt default

This could be the fundamental reason for the Saturn-Pluto 2019 April 15 Arisolar, only Time knows for sure.

If this news report turns out to be accurate, we should start seeing grain prices on the commodity exchanges starting an up-trend due to farmers getting their seed crops in much later than normal.
