Philip Kindred Dick was born (6 weeks prematurely) on December 16, 1928, 12:00 noon, Chicago, IL, according to a biography, Divine Invasions, by Lawrence Sutin.

His fraternal twin sister, Jane Charlotte, was born 20 minutes later according to the same source. Jane was to die the following January.

The notable difference (I think) is that in the chart of the unfortunate sister, Uranus and Mars have moved to the Ascendant and I.C.

(Also, for what it’s worth, Chiron – not shown – at 12° Aries, is partile square Venus, which may have something to do with PKD’s lifelong obsession with his sister.)

Sun in Sagittarius alone summarizes nearly every important thing in everything he wrote! (And Uranus is only 3° below Asc for him also.)

Thanks!

I was mostly interested in whether there would be a significant difference in two horoscopes only 20 minutes apart, given the very different destinies of their owners.

Exactly, I agree! Ebertin says about negative Mars-Uranus manifestations:
…a struggle for survival, an accident, an injury, operation (birth).
Any more details on direct cause of death other than premature birth?

The only other place I know to look for this ‘notable difference’ are the midpoints involving only the natal angles. I note Jane was born with a Direct Saturn/Pluto=Ascendant, (0,24). This Midpoint reads out from Ebertin’s book ‘Combinations of Stellar Influences’:
Being placed in cumbersome and difficult circumstances. Separation, mourning and bereavement.

So, we see here a very important difference with the two Ascendants and its Midpoint.
