You can see the above pattern quite clearly from the second Caplunar map in this month's forecast (click the arrow in the label above). This morning, CNN reported:

Over an almost two-week span, three black churches in one rural parish have burned in suspicious fires. St. Mary Baptist Church, Greater Union Baptist Church and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church have all burned since March 26 in St. Landry Parish, about 30 miles north of Lafayette. Officials call the blazes "suspicious" and have stepped up the law enforcement presence at other churches in the area. Black churches were often the targets of violence, including arson fires, during the civil rights era.

Yes, Mars-Neptune is a malefic racial signature in the mundane world.

Mayer De Blasio just declared (this morning 4/9/19) a measles public health emergency in parts of Brooklyn, requiring all unvaccinated people to become vaccinated.

New York's CAPLUNAR has a partile Mercury-Neptune conjunction tightly straddling MC and (for the authority aspect) Sun a few minutes from square Ascendant. The ARILUNAR has the same Mercury-Neptune conjunction on IC, in mundane square to Mars and (I think: I haven't calculated orbs exactly) PVP square with Saturn.

Today's NYC CapQ has transiting Saturn conjunct ingress Pluto on MC.

So tonight, winds are 30 mph sustained, gusts up to 50, but expected to get worse. We're having a thunder event, with rain, but snow by tomorrow morning. Maybe 2", maybe 10. Maybe more. Most will be blown away, but the rest will melt on contact and make ice.
We also have flooding advisories because the land is saturated, the rivers are high, and anything that comes down has to go somewhere.

Thursday night (April 11) in Phoenix, a man came home from a bar, accused his wife of having an affair, shot her and two of their three children, then went over to the accused man's house and shot him, wounding a few people along the way.

I don't have a time, but picking, say, 10 PM that night probably catches the mood about right.

Phoenix was vulnerable to slayings for the year, since the Capsolar has Venus-Neptune on the angles. Things really cranked into place with the March 29 Caplunar, though, with Mars 2° below Ascendant and a Moon-Pluto conjunction closer in mundo (locale-sensitive) than for the world at large.

Then, on Thursday night, transiting Mars conjoined Phoenix' Capsolar Descendant, with transiting Neptune and Venus conjunct Capsolar IC. It's all there!

BTW, for a year or so now I've been watching partile transits to Capsolar planets and, for the most part, these are quite effective and important when they fall on a Capsolar or CapQ angle. When I heard about this obviously sex-and-passions themed murder and knew that transiting Mars had been opposing Capsolar Venus, I instantly thought this Mars-on-Venus was going to be angular for the event site. Sure enough, with Venus rising in the Phoenix Capsolar, transiting Mars crossing the Phoenix Descendant is opposite Capsolar Venus.

It's rather exciting that we've gotten to a place where we often know what the chart will look like before we calculate it

Official word is the fire broke out in the central spire (which is currently fully engulfed) "shortly before 7 PM Paris time.)

According to the NYTimes, the first alarms went off about 6:30 PM Paris Time.

The central spire just collapsed into the church at 7:49 PM.

Bad YEAR for Paris, with Saturn in the degree of MC, Uranus the degree of Ascendant, partile Saturn-Uranus square, and a foreground Mars, Moon, Mercury. CanQ has Neptune angular, no Mars that I see at the moment (though Neptune is equal to Mars for fires overall) - so far, from a quick check, it looks like it's more "chaos in the street" symbolism than fire symbolism.

New York Times reported today that the first fire alarm went off at 6:20 PM, half an hour than the time we had before. I've updated the general analysis post above.

This makes no difference I can see in the event chart.

The second alarm went off at 6:43 PM. Notre Dame closes to the public at 6:45 PM, but because of the alarm at 6:20, all the tourists and tour guides had been hurried out. That first alarm certainly helped first responders concentrate on the relics and art instead of having to get dozens of people out.

As of right now, eight blasts across Sri Lankan churches and hotels have caused over 100 deaths (The Guardian reports "at least 138 deaths", The New York Times reports 189) and more than 300 people are injured. Death toll and injury numbers are rising, with blasts having been occurred as the hours passed by. Among the dead are mostly locals and some foreigners, one confirmed to be a UK citizen.

The Sri Lankan government, taking no chances, has imposed an all-night curfew, that was at first to be set at 6 PM Sri Lankan time. Curfew ends at 6 AM. (Sri Lanka uses Indian Standard Time, IST, UTC+5:30.) Social media and messaging services; particularly Facebook and Whatsapp, are banned temporarily.

Three of the first six blasts took place in high-end hotels in or near the capital, Colombo. Three others took place in churches respectively in Kochchikode, Negombo, and in the east coast city of Batticaloa. Most sources say that these blasts began or occurred around 8.45AM, although CNN reports that the blast in Shangri-La hotel, Colombo was "just after 9 AM local time", according to the hotel's press statement.

The seventh blast was reported around 2:09PM local time in a hotel near a Colombo suburb zoo. The eighth blast, also in Colombo, was reported as early (as I could find) at 2.43PM. One source quotes the police that the eighth blast was a suicide bomb. Three police officers were killed by it.

The Sri Lankan Minister of Defence describes the blasts/attacks as a "terrorist" incident, and the work of religious extremists. He also says he believes that all culprits have been identified and will be taken into custody.
Update: In his most recent statement, (posted in Twitter by a local Member of Parliament at 4:54PM IST) 7 people have been arrested. According to a NY Times journalist's tweet at 4:52PM IST, The Sri Lankan government also says that the explosions appear to have been as a result of suicide bombings carried out by one group.

Pope Francis denounced the attacks and offered prayers for the victims of these attacks at the conclusion of his Easter Sunday speech.

A huge pile-up (4 semis and 24 cars) occurred yesterday on I-70 near Denver, resulting in a fiery explosion that killed at least four people and injured others. Metal-melting temperatures reached 2,500° F. NPR posted a time of 4:50 PM.

The driver of a flatbed truck laden with lumber said his brakes failed, causing him to collide with cars already halted due to a traffic jam (another crash had already occurred further down the road, stalling traffic). The sheriff thinks vehicular manslaughter charges will be brought against the driver. The very significant freeway is expected to take at least a day to open (probably into Saturday).

Moon conjoined Pluto in the last degree of Sagittarius as this occurred.

The CAPSOLAR is a kind chart for the region, with Venus rising closely and Jupiter more widely. Similarly, the ARISOLAR has Jupiter closely rising, Venus square Jupiter and Ascendant within about a degree.

However, the LIBLUNAR showed the week as chaotic at best. Neptune is 2° from IC (with Moon opposite Sun and square Pluto).

For daily timing, the Capsolar Quotidian has ingress Mars within 1° of Ascendant and Mercury a bit more than 1° on the other side (they aren't in partile aspect). - Traffic blockages today and tomorrow arise from CapQ Ascendant continuing to rotate into orb of ingress Saturn, tied into two Mercuries.

Sheriff's Deputies were called and detained someone in a shooting incident. There were injuries, information will be forthcoming.

CAPSOLAR: Vulnerability to community-disturbing events, possible shootings, and religious-locale events for the year: Neptune 1°03' from IC in close mundane square to Venus and ecliptical square to Jupiter (which is on EP).

ARISOLAR: Neptune sq. Asc 1°40', Mercury on IC 1°52'; mix of Venus, Jupiter, Mars all more widely foreground. Probably a reinforcing chart but "fuzzier" than the Capsolar. Interesting near-partile Venus-Mars mundane square has shown in the past when the shooting turned out to be about personal family matters.

CANLUNAR: (Most recent non-dormant lunar ingress.) Again Neptune is most angular, 1°56' above Dsc, and again it is aspecting Venus (foreground conjunction). A little Mercury and Mars for seasoning, but mostly the angular Neptune conjunct Venus.

CAPQ: Here's the "luckily nobody was hurt chart" (plus religious themes), with Jupiter sq. CapQ Asc 0°37'

Actually, one dead, four hurt. White male 19 year old performing hate with an AR style rifle. Would have been more deaths, but border control agent attending service scared the shooter off. The shooter surrendered to police.

In July 2017, a Minneapolis cop shot a woman (Justine Ruszcyk) who had called 911 to report a suspected rape near her house. Ifyou go back to the 2017 July Events thread, you can read about the original event.

Yesterday, a highly unusual thing occurred: The cop was convicted of murder.

I have casually observed in other cases that juries are more likely to hand down severe verdicts or sentences when under the influnece of malefics, and to hand down more lenient findings when under the influence of benefics. This may not hold up, but it's what I've seen casually.

the Minneaplis CAPLUNAR has Saturn exactly angular, and Moon-Saturn-Pluto on the angles in general. You can see this on the first Caplunar map here:

Additionally, the whole idea of cops, "authorities," and surprises comes into play: Sun-Uranus conjunction on Vertex is in close PVP square to the angular Saturn on IC.

Additionally, CapQ MC for Minneapolis conjoined transiting Saturn and Pluto, with Saturn currently cojunct ingress Pluto. Again, for the "authorities" angles, CapQ Asc conjoined transiting Sun, making an implicit Sun-Saturn square.
