Indianola Hurricane

August 20, 1886, during the early daylight hours, Indianola, TX
At least 74 people died and $200,000 of damages occurred in the total destruction of Indianola, Texas in one of the most intense hurricanes of all time, a Category 4 storm with 150 mph winds. (Ar the time, it was the strongest hurricane ever recorded.)
An early storm in 1875 had seriously damaged the town, and it was barely recovering. This hurricane smashed Indianola, with every building either destroyed or left unusable. Within two hours of the storm striking, every street was under at least two feet of water. Despite the wet, what the storm didn't smash was swallowed in a resulting unstoppable fire caused by a building's collapse. A final storm five weeks later completed the town's eradication: The town was finally abandoned. (Currently it's ruins are offshore under 15 feet of water.)
The hurricane is said to have struck during daylight hours - one reason given for the lesser fatalities compared to the 1875 storm - and "in the early morning hours." I suspect the best time is early in the daylight hours, perhaps 8 AM.
Do not forget the destructive fire conjoined to this event as you notice Mars on almost every level of the stack.
