Choosing where to study

My daughter is thinking of doing another Master study abroad after she finishes the current one here in her home country.
I have been wanting to ask this question for quite some time. What do we look for, her natal chart relocated and look for planets coming to local angles and possibly new mundo aspects or do we consider the SSR elsewhere as the way to decide which location would be most beneficial?
I have seen that sometimes people relocate the natal and look at that whilst others look at the SSR's for different locations.
Thanks a lot,
Flo

Both are worth checking, depending on the conditions. The natal is more important if one is planning a long-term move (though I usually at least idly check it if I'm only briefly going to a place I've never been before). The SSR is especially important for it's setup, and secondarily for where one goes after it sets up, and only pertains to the year of that SSR (though often there are year-to-year patterns worth noting,
e.g., my entire life I will have transiting Pluto angular in my SSRs for LA, Neptune angular in NYC; and you can see that your natal planets gradually rotate under the angles for a particular place over the years).
Yes, the main focus of the natal is new angularities, especially very close ones, and secondarily new mundane aspects. You can also consider such things as what outer planet transits will occur to those angles over the years one will be there and what progressions involve angles distinctive to a location. For all of these things, remember that you never lose your natal / birthplace angles, you just gain new, additional ones.

Thank you Jim, this is really helpful. Yes, the setup of the SSR is the one to consider where she is at that moment and it will be exciting to figure it all out eventually. And will for sure check the outer transits to the local angles and progressions for the relocated natal.
