Having a bad day... week... month I guess.

Edited to add I got home the first time about 3:15 PM. Jul 10, 2019. The second time about 3:45 PM.
So when I hurt my neck I couldn't drive because I couldn't turn my head. So I didn't.
My car had a birthday recently. He's 25.
Not being driven regularily, he gets panicky and runs down his battery.
I didn't drive him for ten days.
Monday I went to start him and he couldn't even turn over.
I tried today and he could turn over, so I used my little jump box and he started and we drove around awhile.
I stopped in to see my mechanic, who is a good guy, and a good place to stop if you're not sure if you turn off the car it'll start again. It started again. Then I went to the grocery store.
I had planned on going to the grocery store but I slipped my card case into one of my reusable bags in case I had to walk home. It's hot and I didn't want to drag more around than I had to.
I went to pay, and my card case wasn't there.
The cashier suspended the transaction, I went home thinking I'd left the card case somewhere. I hadn't.
I suspended that card, took another back to the store and paid for my stuff. I went through every aisle in the store and all around where I'd parked. I asked customer service to call me if it gets turned in. They said you'd be surprised about 98% of lost wallets get turned in.
Maybe.
It's not just the card, but my driver's license and car registration and health insurance card.
As I got to my driveway, the little yellow low on gas light came on.
