Just transitioned to sidereal.

I've just transitioned to Sidereal Astrology and I find it more accurate. My chart being a blend of Aries and Taurus, it explains my sensitivity and artistry better than any Tropical reading could.

However, I'm new to this whole Western Sidereal thing, and I'd like to see what the community has to say about my chart. If it's not too much to ask, perhaps a breakdown on my Aries placements.

I was born on May 14th 2000 @ 2:20 PM in Porto, Portugal.

No, I don't live in my hometown anymore. I live in Southern Portugal, I kinda went back and forth between here and my hometown for a while.

Is "Southern Portugal" the name of a town? If not, what is the name of the town?

The reason I'm asking is most of us use software that uses the name of the town to site the chart. Most of us use software that sites the chart by the name of the town. If the chart can't be sited, then nobody can tell what your MC or ASC might be.

Welcome to Solunars, Dora. Here are some preliminary notes on your Sidereal Natal Horoscope for your reference and study. They are not a full interpretation of your birth chart; rather, they are building blocks from which a full interpretation can be built.

Each factor listed below contributes to your character. These paragraphs commonly repeat or contradict each other. (We all have contradictions.) Knowing yourself is a life-long undertaking. I encourage you to read through these notes, feeling your way through the interweaving ideas and reflecting on what you know of yourself.

The paragraphs are brief. I have sought to pack in everything essential, to use a few words to imply much more. Not every phrase will apply, of course. Some will be more important than others; but the gist of each section should clearly reflect truth about you. When you have spent time with this and have new questions, feel free to ask.

ANGULAR PLANETS
Angular Mars (MC 1°36')
Aggressive, competitive, challenging, needs to win (combative, quarrelsome). Seeks to test & prove self by contest (e.g., competitively, verbally, mentally, sexually). Courage (physical & moral; may disregard safety). Dominates & controls others. Physical, needs to expend energy; needs physical & psychological elbowroom. Sexually aggressive, needs frequent satisfaction. Business leadership & competitive excellence.

Angular Pluto (sq. Asc 2°32')
Social outliers needing to be authentically themselves, without labels or arbitrary standards or expectations. Eccentric, antisocial, outrageous; won’t melt into the conventional collective. Singularly unique in their context, on their own path (vulnerable to persecution). Grapples with spiritual actualities.
Mars opposite Pluto (4°31')
Normally congenial, mannered, even docile; yet enormous hidden explosive force (disciplined & available; untapped; or toxic & brutal). This must be expressed somehow (suppressing it attracts violence or assaults health). Resists control or coercion, defies arbitrary restrictions. Sexual energies explosive or rerouted into work (beware burn-out). In a balanced life: distinctive creativity, alive with a quiet, intense energy.

Moon sextile Pluto (1°45')
Avoids habitual conformity & conventional conditioning; willing to “march to a different drummer” with little concern for others’ rules. Maverick, outsider, gently resists authority. Restless, can uproot on little notice. Deeply inquiring mind.

Moon trine Mars (2°46')
Active-reactive; temper. Detests idleness. Driven, competent, ambitious. Impatient, acerbic, irritable. Frank, sharp-tongued (friction in relationships). Needs physical, emotional, & mental room to breathe. Possible substance abuse. Sexual needs strong, irrepressible.
Angular Mercury (MC 5°45')
Alert, attentive, observant, strategic, analytic. Mentally sharp, hard to fool (knows more about you than you think). Little emotional affect, hard to read. Nervous (anxiety? worry? touchy?). Easily bored without regular mental stimulation. Good at precise, detailed work; natural at handling business. Curiosity drives sexual choices as much as any other factor.

MOON
Moon in Virgo
Intellectual, strategic, analytical, calculating, data-driven, efficient. (Too serious.) Intuitive, bizarrely illogical (moody, resistant). Plays victim & retaliates (abuse, betrayal). Service, loyal, devoted, contributing. Courageous. Innocent, simple, modest; expects respect. Romantic, flirtatious; shy. Nervous sensitivity.
Moon trine Neptune (3°42')
Drawn to the imaginative & surrealistic. Loves mystery, pursues with avid curiosity. Sensitive, empathic (deeply understanding, sympathetic; also, psychically vulnerable). Self-defense through closing senses, withdrawing, introversion (worry, moodiness).

Moon octile Sun (1°14')
Dynamic, vitality. An attitude biased toward success. At home with power. Intense desire in whatever they undertake. Sexual desires particularly strong, often narcissistic. Vanity, self-exaltation.
SUN
Sun in Aries
Contradictory, contrary, oppositional, capricious. Seeks liberty, resists definition or limits. Practical, resourceful, active, impatient. Imperial, political, needs power. Poor empathy. Resents criticism. Vulnerable ego. Direct, bold with opinions. Romantically aggressive. Faithful, strong family sense.
Sun conjunct Saturn (3°07')
Effective survivors, self-sufficient, hard-working, accomplishing. Few luxuries; prefers private, modest accommodations. Authority issues to overcome (paternal). Serious, yet good sense of humor! Childhood hardships common, circumstances force early maturation.

Sun square Uranus (3°16')
Go their own way, unapologetically following their own paths, persuaded that they’re a special case. Easily bored. Loves freedom: bows to no outside authority. Progressive, future-oriented, uninhibited by convention. Self-perspective usually founded in objectivity.
MARS
Mars in Taurus
Artists, musicians. Tender, responsive, humane. Mystic instincts attuned to love. Sexually attractive, romantic soul, sensual (sexually popular?). Women often tough, competitive, comfortable with assertiveness. Men often second-guess themselves, perhaps a little lost, ambivalent about aggression.
Mars trine Neptune (0°57')
Thrives amidst stirred passion & drama. Supercharged imagination. Surges into temptation; impatient with frustrated gratification; requires rapid conformity of reality to wants (usually gets it). Zealous enthusiasms. Dramatic aggressions; anger patterns triggered by frustration. Sexually magnetic (yet sexual demons & doubts). Great stamina for long-term vision.
MERCURY
Mercury in Taurus
Speech is harmonious, gracious, calming, poetic. Light-hearted, pleasant, good-humored, entertaining. Deep & curious mind, given to study, curious about life’s mysteries (Eros dominates the thinking). Strong on artistic expression & making beautiful things (more fine craft than fine art).

VENUS
Venus in Aries
Quick to arouse passions, affection fires easily. Warm, affectionate, friendly. Pragmatic outlook on love, romance, and sex: Weighs practical considerations before emotional. Expect total focus of companion’s attention. Rarely outwardly affectionate (especially in public). Naturally take on leadership roles.
Venus conjunct Jupiter (2°52')
Fundamentally social creatures. Warm, friendly, giving, hospitable, gracious (reigns over social events). Nearly always liked (great need to be liked, desires positive attention and appreciation more than most, usually gets it). At home in a fine lifestyle (or as celebrity, aristocrat, etc.). Indulgent in all oral pleasures, e.g., preparing and eating fine food. Usually has an easier time through life despite sometimes harsh starts (experience unusual luck or patronage), usually partner well. Inclination to extravagance, possible “spoiled brat” attitude (risk of mild narcissism).

Venus square Uranus (4°15')
Pleasure needs are free from social convention or taboo; enjoys diverse social & sexual experiences. Approach friendship, love, & sex impersonally, on their own terms (deep instinct for flexibility & freedom). Popular, friendly, flirtatious, roguish.

Venus conjunct Saturn (4°23')
Work, duty, devotion are gratifying. Restrictions in love; ordinary pleasures may be deferred. Many seem comfortable unpartnered, though there is rarely sexual restraint. Childhood hardship or deprivation shape adult patterns. Sober, responsible.
OUTER PLANETS
Saturn square Uranus (0°09')
Well-developed autonomy, firmly defended; self-willed (acting out). Resists persuasion: navigates life and makes decisions on own terms (cantankerous obstinacy but not necessarily confrontational about it). Hard to pigeon-hole, thinks and acts outside of stereotypes. Need to “find their own word” and give it voice. Much of their life is about “holding it together” (some succeed, some don’t).

Jupiter square Uranus (1°23')
Mind interested in and well-suited to science, philosophical inquiry, and self-inquiry (knack for astrology). Success through unlikely paths (likely to succeed in life and distinguish themselves). Committed to progress, instinct for exceptionalism. Ingenuity, insight (sees outside the usual maps, pathways, and systems; thinks on a broader scale). Respectful while unbeholden to artificial rank, class, or caste (it’s unimportant to them); gently resists authority (conflict with authority), speaks truth to power, stands against injustice, egalitarian (social activist).

Jupiter conjunct Saturn (1°32')
Practical, sensible (especially with finances). Responsible, conscientious, determined. Courageous, effective survivors; rarely halted by adversity. Patient hard work (earning one’s place, success through industry) brings the most reliable rewards. Balances gain & loss: what can be won from losing, what it costs to win (cf. politics, finance; making lemonade from lemons). Attuned to legacy, heritage, tradition. Cornerstones of their families or circles. Orthodoxies draw their strong allegiance or opposition (the most creative become baselines of new orthodoxies).

Natal yes, local no. Aside from the point if any predictive work is desired, there's the question of what the local angles look like, which is why we ask for current location as well.

For example, Mars would be closer to an angle if she lives in the southeast corner of Portugal than in the southwest corner.
