One customer had just paid at the register at 10:36 AM and was walking out the door when he heard the first gun shots, according to NYT. Though it probably took a few minutes for him to get to the door, this checkout time is probably pretty close. [Update calculations for 10:37. I originally used 10:40.] Nothing particularly marks the event chart (for that time or anytime near it) other than a not-quite-partile Moon-Neptune opposition. Any distinction of the time is likely related to the shooter's chart.
The charts are quite poor until we get to the week. At that point, the week chart and Capsolar Quotidian come through as usual. While this is good enough, there is so much Jupiter here that I can't help think that there are explicit Jupiter themes we don't yet know about. The Bridge is more or less perfect. UPDATE: The motive was xenophobia and anti-immigration prejudice. These may suggest that the negative scores for Jupiter charts should be upgraded a point.

Death toll is 22 (with 24 more injured). The 21-year-old white male shooter fired a semi-automatic rifle (a WASR-10, similar to an AK-47) into a crowded Walmart Supercenter in Cielo Vista Mall. (He eventually surrendered to the police.) Authorities are investigating whether the shooter is the author of an on-line manifesto that (per NYT) "declares support for the gunman who killed 51 in Christchurch, New Zealand, outlines fears about Hispanic people gaining power in the United States, and appears to discuss specific details about elements of the attack, including weapons."JSAD wrote:The first 911 calls came in at 10:39 AM. The rifle was a Russian Kalashnikov. The shooter surrendered with no attempt at suicide. It's a 9-hour drive between his home and this Walmart Supercenter. He appears to be a Nazi terrorist.
