SS Deutschland wreck

The SS Deutschland departed Bremerhaven, Germany for New York City with 123 emigrants aboard and a crew of 90. Terrible weather, including a severe blizzard, drove her aground with a fractured propeller at the above time and place (time zone uncertain, but presume LMT) in the North Sea.

Small boats launched were unsuccessful at reaching help (and most were simply washed away). Distress rockets were initially unsuccessful at attracting the attention of passing ships but eventually attracted help. On the December 7, 173 people were rescued.

Apparently, therefore, casualties weren't great, though it the event was somewhat notorious and a grueling tale of emigration hardship. If the crew and passengers were 90 + 123 = 213, and 173 were rescued, then 50 people must have died.

This should not be confused with the SS Deutschland the British air force famously attacked in 1945.

The event chart has a lot of planets recently angular that reflect the various conditions but, right about 5:00 AM itself, Mars was on IC.

The charts start off really well... then they suddenly peter out. It's quite strange.

Given the absence of Capsolar activity for the day and near-absence of the Cansolar for the day, statistics show that on the rare instance of this the Arisolar and Libsolar show much better. To follow the developed system, we should check these.

It turns out that the Libsolar was dominated by intense transits which seem to have thrown it into higher profile.
