New Sidereal Classes in Los Angeles

September is back to school time at the SCHOOL OF SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY LOS ANGELES. Two classes are now enrolling, one starting late September and one starting in mid-October.

SOLAR & LUNAR RETURNS (SZ-201)
A new course on "Sidereal Solar & Lunar Returns" begins Wednesday, September 25, at 7:00 PM (location in Koreatown to be confirmed upon enrollment). It will run for 12 weeks on Wednesdays, excluding the night before Thanksgiving Day.
This class includes an introduction to Sidereal Solar and Lunar Returns, how to interpret these charts, written interpretation aids, numerous classic and contemporary examples, and exploration of key events in students' past plus their forthcoming return charts (including astro-tourism or "Where Do You Want to Spend Your Birthday?").
PREREQUISITE: Completion of "Foundations of Sidereal Astrology" (SZ-101) or equivalency.
TUITION: $180
FOUNDATIONS OF SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY (SZ-101)
A repeat of our successful "Foundations of Sidereal Astrology" course will begin Tuesday, October 15, at 7:00 PM (location in Koreatown will be confirmed upon enrollment). It will run for 12 weeks on Tuesdays, except for certain holiday weeks.
This class is an introduction to Sidereal natal astrology and the foundation of all later courses. It includes deep exploration of the ten planets, the 12 Sidereal constellations (signs), astrological aspects, planetary angularity, and combining the core features of a horoscope to understand a person's nature and behavior. Each class member's horoscope is explored as part of the training. Time permitting, an introduction to transits and relationship analysis (synastry) is included.
PREREQUISITE: None. You will need to provide your complete birth information including time. Your commitment to the entire 12-week course is important.
TUITION: $220
FACULTY
JAMES A. ESHELMAN has been an astrological writer and teacher for nearly 50 years and is perhaps the leading living voice on Sidereal Astrology. Among his better-known astrological books are Interpreting Solar Returns and Visions & Voices. Since 2007 he has operated Solunars.com, a web forum and online community dedicated to the study and growth of Sidereal Astrology. A past president of the International Society for Astrological Research (ISAR), he lives in Los Angeles.
MARION DESIO is a Los Angeles life-coach who uses Sidereal Astrology to assist others in navigating their lives through understanding themselves and the universe. Tutored in astrology by her mother from age 10, she practiced Tropical Astrology in New York and San Francisco before embracing Sidereal Astrology’s clearer insights in 2005. A wine educator and creator of fine wine experiences, she co-created the School of Sidereal Astrology Los Angeles, which opened in 2018.
