I really need to know...

Okay... This is my first post. I, however, have been checking the content on this forum for a while.
To give a bit of background, I am not by any means new to Astrology, but in all honesty most of my research in this matter has been devoted to fundamental concepts, and in finding to the very least some deeper philosophical or universal principle that could justify them. An example of what I mean by researching fundamental concepts are questions such why we have 12 signs, and not 11, or 13, and so on. I, flatly put, hate how contradictory the whole astrological community is... So, I am often desperate for basic principles that could clear those contradictions. The bite-sized version of this whole paragraph is this: I am dying of curiosity, but I do not need the basic stuff explained, unless I prove dumb, or unaware enough throughout the dialog.
I do give more credence to Sidereal Systems of Astrology. And so, I want to see in what light Western Sidereal Astrologers will frame my character. As expected of me, I will, of course, be cooperative in informing others about my life as needed for the purposes of this discussion.
Here is my birth data:
August 24, 1996
9:20 AM (as stated by birth certificate). AA. Atlantic Standard Time.
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. (69° 59' 18"W, 18° 30' 00"N)
I won't post my chart and positions, because I, of course, want others to use their own systems. If I were to demand particular insight something, it would be some insight regarding my romantic life, as will be explained later. However, I am mainly here out of curiosity as to how my personality will be interpreted. It should be a learning experience in regards to the Modus Operandi of the styles of Astrology used here. Eventually, I also hope to contribute back to this community as well.
I do have a lot of interesting details here and there. For starters, I was indeed born in the Dominican Republic, but I my father is first generation Chinese. So I am practically half Chinese half Dominican. I am of royal descent. I have a heavy bias towards my paternal heritage and Chinese side, and after paternal haplogroup tests, historical research, and family records, I can strongly justify that I descend from King Wen of Zhou. That said, the aristocracy is powerless in this new world of merchants. In practice, the aforementioned is just a cool detail pretty much.
I am an United States Marine at the moment. Yeah, its kind of weird that I dabble in Astrology, and that my interests are so intellectually centered. On the other hand, my interest in military affairs has also always been huge. However, I hate being in servitude.
I have always possessed a sort of misanthropic spark in me. I lived in Dominican Republic and I always disliked how my peers behaved, even as a young boy. I was very religious, now its very philosophical instead, but still, I was constantly {nassed} when I saw people being immoral and unreasonably selfish. However, I felt powerless, and unable to change this. This would haunt my mind for a while. I moved to Mexico some time before my twelfth birthday, and then I moved to the United States when I was 15 years old or so. I felt adults as a whole to be kind of brainwashed, and I also saw my peers as trivial and purposeless. I still do to a good extent. Still this made me a loner during my high school years. I do not think I can accurately rate my personal appearance due to bias, but secondhand knowledge and experience tells me that I must be on the good looking side of the scale somewhere. I was somehow popular with women, though I did not pay attention to them out of disdain, in my high school years.
I was rebellious with my parents, and did not do well in school. In college I was doing pretty good... But, my motivation was dropping sharply because my misanthropy was still growing from the point of my high school years, and that is saying something. I was so desperate to find a meaningful place where I could call people true comrades in arms and fight for something larger. My blindness and desperation in this aspect led me to join the Marine Corps, and I will say now that the military is full of hypocrisy and it makes me sick. I would love to reform so many things, and among them is clearly the military.
My constant discontent with how people normally were, and the contrast with the living conditions of the poor made me increasingly more philosophical. By the time I was eight, I was already wondering why I was an individual, and not otherwise. I was Catholic really early, then Protestant, then New Age-y, then what I am now. Rationalist philosophers like Leibniz, and Mozi are good epistemological guidance in my book. There are many other sources of knowledge that I have taken valuable philosophy from, like the Bhagavad Gita, and the Art of War for example.
With time, I have accepted the reality of most people being trivial and purposeless. I constantly tell myself that I must face reality as it is first in order to change it, and that is my ideal of internal strength.
Given a growing number of particular achievements in my workplace, and conversations I have had with other people, I am renowned for my intelligence among my peers. Even then, how can I know if I truly I am intelligent? That is a question I want to have an answer to one day.
The world is quite dark right now. My dreams and hope, however, do not waver. My ancestor, King Wen, is a great inspiration for me, since he faced a deeply corrupt world, with keen judgement, and both due patience, and opportunism, he laid the foundation for a better future (the longest dynasty in Chinese history). If heaven wills it, I think I will accomplish a lot in my life time, but if it doesn't, then I at least will lay the foundation for what I expect to be son(s) in the future to take and carry forward. If the concept of the Mandate of Heaven exists, it can only come from proper Astrology, and this is another reason for my interest in the subject, among other reasons.
My ambitions are really astoundingly big... It is to the point that I am ashamed of even putting them out in a forum for fear of being called childish. Fear of wasting my time though, because I know I will be called such. There is no point in provoking the aforementioned situation. Well, there is this saying of aiming for the stars, but at least landing in the moon because of it.
This concludes my personal summary. I wish I had more precision with particular events... I just have bad memory for personal stuff, since I am somewhat of a detached person. A set of events I have good precision for is the turning points that come with my Military Service. I went to Marine Corps Boot Camp in March 20-21, 2017. I was stationed in Japan on November 8, 2017. I get off active duty on March 20, 2021.
The whole thing about romance is that I do not know what to do at this point. I put really high expectations, physically and spiritually, on what I want in a woman, and that is exactly what makes it hard on me. I want to be on a meaningful relationship, but I find most women trivial. While I of course could get basic advice on this, I am interested in the Astrological perspective. I do not get sexually frustrated to the point of craziness, but I do have a more instinctual side too, and the tug of war is real. Hopefully asking for insight on this is not too much of a favor to ask...

Welcome to the site.
A couple of short questions: Were you giving the exact coordinates where you were born (say, of the hospital) or just providing Santo Domingo coordinates? (The usual "center of SD" coordinates are 18N28, 69W54.)
Second, where are you living at the moment?

Here are some notes on your Sidereal Natal Horoscope for your reference and study. They are not a full interpretation of your birth chart; rather, they are building blocks from which a full interpretation can be built.
Each factor listed below contributes to your character. These paragraphs commonly repeat or contradict each other. (We all have contradictions.) The paragraphs are brief: I have sought to pack in everything essential, to use a few words to imply much more. Not every phrase will apply, of course. Some will be more important than others; but the gist of each section should clearly reflect truth about you.
ANGULAR PLANETS & ASPECTS
Venus conjunct Midheaven (3°32')
Charming, attractive, popular. Friendly, amiable, gracious. Kind, considerate, benevolent. Flirtatious, affectionate (sexually more receptive than aggressive). Loving, caretaking, mothering. Drawn to beauty, pleasure, peace, tranquility (not pain, violence, turbulence); averse to cruelty & harm. Needs to experience pleasure & beauty; requires harmony & ease (reduced stress & friction). Stubborn & fierce toward injustice (personal or social).
Venus conjunct Mars (3°42')
Passion (in all senses), feels powerfully about things. Strong sexual passions mature early, continue late, rarely encumbered by too many conditions. Broadly fun-loving, socially active, loves romance: interesting, likable, sociable, horny people. Relationships, often picked for ferocity, easily hit conflict, strain, or burnout.
Jupiter square Saturn (1°40')
Practical, sensible (especially with finances). Responsible, conscientious, determined. Courageous, effective survivors; rarely halted by adversity. Patient hard work (earning one’s place, success through industry) brings the most reliable rewards. Balances gain & loss: what can be won from losing, what it costs to win (cf. politics, finance; making lemonade from lemons). Attuned to legacy, heritage, tradition. Cornerstones of their families or circles. Orthodoxies draw their strong allegiance or opposition (the most creative become baselines of new orthodoxies).
Moon square Saturn (3°19')
Proud, self-made. Hardworking, persistent, self-driving. Encourages growth in others. Usually emotionally reserved, private. Seeks to control situations & relationships. Parent issues (nourishment-deprivation). Judgmental, intolerant, distrustful, resisting. Can be pessimistic, feeling inferior, anxious, depressed.
Moon conjunct Jupiter (4°59')
Good-humored, entertaining, kind, generous (natural host). Ambitious, desires success. Drawn to quality, desires the best. Strong beliefs (religious or patriotic intensity, morality, judgment). Social elitism (feigned superiority, aristocratic conceit).
MOON
Moon in Sagittarius
Higher & higher (ambition, spiritual aspiration, flight). Optimism (adapting with positivism). Courteous, gracious, natural hosts. Seeks to impress (needs validation, approval). Devoted to ideals & values (political; nationalistic, tribal; loves history). Dramatic (actors). Mercenary. Strong family ties.
Moon trine Sun (1°21')
Energetic, vital, involved. Naturally rises toward leadership, comfortable with power (possible self-exaltation). Psychic vitality, intense desire in whatever they undertake. Sexual desires particularly strong, often narcissistic. Inclined to service.
SUN
Sun in Leo
Requires centricity & satellites: Holds court. Casual dignity, simple elegance, innate flair. Authority, courage, competitive, hates weakness, nurtures talent. Warm, loyal; must love and be loved (centricity, adoration); sexually lusty, playful. Purity, perfection (pedantic). Strong religious instinct. Childlike delight.
Sun square Pluto (1°15')
A “law unto themselves,” “the exception to the rule.” Little respect for arbitrary expectations. Antiauthoritarian, needs to be free from arbitrary or incompetent control. Comfortable as “outsider” or “congenial bad boy.” Often seems aloof, unresponsive, but rarely harsh; usually kind, “live and let live.”
MARS
Mars in Gemini
Bright, inquiring; forthright, decisive (strong opinions). Argumentative (debate, stirs conversation; eloquent?). Pragmatic (not idealistic). Methodical. Scientific mind hones facts, can commit mind to research (scientists). Gains strength from being heard; otherwise over-compensates. (May “know better than anyone else,” need to be right.) Substance abuse.
MERCURY
Mercury in Virgo
Curious, observant, methodical, analytical. Quiet, almost soft-spoken, good-natured (maybe too passive). Communication is right to the point (journalist). Logical, strategic: Wants the facts before deciding, considers all sides.
Mercury sextile Pluto (1°39')
Thinking is individual, unusual, outlier. Probing, thinks deeply about things. Mind may ride the edge of normalcy (may slip off): enthusiastic, excitable, impatient (irritable, easily frustrated, stubborn, challenging). Instinct for abstractions.
Mercury trine Uranus (2°44')
Independent thinker. Curious & investigative. Mind unfettered by formality solves problems & integrates data more intuitively. Rejects linearity; lacks rigor. Diverse interests, often unusual. Speech is engaging, usually has something interesting to say. Challenges convention or authority, speaks despite consequences (stubborn, pedantic). Gently rebellious, socially odd.
Mercury trine Neptune (3°17')
Highly responsive to environment, sensitive to subtle impressions. Magnifies trivialities (perfectionist). Loves puzzle- or problem-solving. Very curious about the unknown (occultism). Dreamer, storyteller, can enthuse and persuade others.
VENUS
Venus in Gemini
Playful, fun. Seeks companions specially to share curiosities & explorations (strengthened by partnering with their “other”). Broadly open to sexual opportunities. Interested in unusual, specialized artistic fields; keen awareness of form.
Venus octile Pluto (0°33')
“All or nothing” emotional intensity instinctively rejects others’ arbitrary values on love & sex. Seeks deep connections, often challenging social codes. (Doesn’t play it safe in relationships.) Typically, few intimates. Sexual development may come late (adolescent social rituals are perplexing).
OUTER PLANETS
Uranus sextile Pluto (1°05')
Feels unbound by convention or authority; will challenge or dismiss them. Seeks new ideas, new ways, more options. Strong opinions; easily provoked to share them. Restless, impatient, frustrated (angry). In youth, often seems without direction (this usually resolves with maturity).

Thank you very much for your reply sir.
When it comes to reading charts, I always have this issue between the concept of the "essential" and the concept of "the bunch of details." I want to make sure I am not playing "chance games," since while the concept of geometric aspects makes more sense to me at a fundamental level than the ones that Vedic Astrology uses, the geometric aspects are a lot in quantity so they play a sort of "chance game" that kills falsifiability. That said, I can see that these descriptions do apply to me very well. I also saw no orb that was greater than 5 degrees, so I cannot, and will not claim that there really were that many aspects that one of them had to hit, or that there was "cherry picking." Besides, and again, all of these are indeed correct descriptions. Of course, I understand that these types of aspects are not endemic to your system (though maybe the aspect interpretations are to some degree?).
More importantly, to answer the questions... I am not really putting hospital coordinates here, these are just what I got for the coordinates of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I just have this Astrology software where I can test all my crazy hypotheses, and it may be pretending (or not?) that it has more precise coordinates for each place.
I am currently in Iwakuni, Japan. Coordinates from the program are: 132° 11' 00"E, 34° 09' 00"N. I will be here/there for the rest of my enlistment, and then I will immediately go to officer school, and become an officer in the Air Force. That is all just for financial security though, because my real focus is the greatest possible mastery over the stock market I can have, and that will be the catapult that will lead me to the execution of the rest of my life plans, ideals, and ambitions.
I also have another question sir... Given that you do not give too strong of an effect to the Ascendant, or even the Midheaven, how do you make sure that the chart a person has differs from that of another significantly enough if they are born on the same day? For example, my mother, and godfather who were born on the same day, on the same city. My godfather is a nerdy guy that is very good with computers and has not married or had any kids, while my mother is very social, altruistic, and religious (to put it short and sweet). They were both born on February 5, 1964 on the same city I was born (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic). That said, they do not live on the same place.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, in these short summaries the goal isn't to list everything but to concentrate on those things so strong that other factors aren't going to contradict them. (Other, contradictory factors can co-exist with them, making for a more complex mix, but won't suppress them outright.)

That's probably a real eye-opener for you! I say this because, for Iwakuni, your natal Uranus is on MC. (It looks exact almost to the minute in longitude but it's actually 2°19' west of MC.)
...then I will immediately go to officer school, and become an officer in the Air Force.
I was going to ask if you were Air Force based on your Sagittarius Moon, but decided not to go "off script" of the basic interpretations. It seemed you'd respond better to pre-written "standard interpretations" that didn't look custom crafted from you. Nonetheless, you may find it interesting that Moon was in Sidereal Sagittarius at the births of Charles Lindbergh, John Glenn, Neil Armstrong, and probably Yuri Gagarin.

Planets on angles, primarily (aside from obvious other things like Moon aspects). This is actually more granular, more distinguishing, since relying on an Ascendant sign only gives 12 options through the day, while the gradient strengths of each planet according to its angularity allows a vast number of differences. Even between identical twins, this will often make a clear difference.
What are the birth times for your mother and godfather?

I did indeed came to a climax point in here in terms of disappointment in others. My idealism has always been a force that has built my character, but it has also defined much of my anguish throughout my life. Due to reaching a point of an absolute psychological need for self delusion, I wanted to believe the military would have more honorable people, but the truth was quite the opposite... I came to a sort of breaking point where I legitimately had to decide in almost what could be called suicidal ideation whether it was worth living in a world like this, in where most people are so base. However, I had people of whom I gained some admiration from due to guiding them with what I thought I knew, and apart from what I would cause on them if I disappeared coming to my mind during this moment, another part of me told me that true courage, resolution, and objectivity is to face reality as it is, and to fight for my ideals to the best of my ability regardless of the results handed by fate (strong Bhagavad Gita influence). Eventually, I came across more information on my paternal heritage, and then I felt that my life truly may have a larger "objective" meaning than one coming from an existentialist perspective. At the end of the day, what happens after my efforts will be what confirms or denies this feeling. I like to say that to act in general is to ask a question to fate, and it is the only normally feasible way to ask fate a question (apart from possibly Astrology). I accepted that human nature has an insane width of manifestation, with an edge of the spectrum being the heroes of mankind, but it is often indeed mediocre, sheepish, and concerned more with mere survival than with meaning. Even if the people around me do not have my mindset of fixing this world and thinking for the sake of future generations (including their descendants), I came to terms with that in a practical, and emotional level. That is a reality I do not want to let be however, and I must change it. Now, therefore, I am much more socially adept.

I joined the Marine Corps as enlisted. I thought it was a greater challenge, and had more honor "points" (among other things). Let me say now I wasn't thinking on much information, and I heavily lament that. However, I eventually developed the dream to be a fighter pilot after enlisting (which is funny, because my father and grandfather had that dream as well).
The Air Force makes more sense as a branch, and has the most attractive option for my goals, the F22. By the way, if I had a penny for every time I see the number 22 somewhere, I would be rich, but I digress. A fighter pilot is to me the modern equivalent of the Knight. I have always had a strong sense of admiration for the concept of Knights, Samurai, etc. The capacity to give oneself to an actually worthy cause, and of accepting the reality of death with evenness is truly the climax of morality. The freedom of movement on horseback or on cockpit is very attractive to me. I like to take and have space as well. So while I love Japan, Japanese culture, and Japanese women (I won't lie
), I dislike being put on tight, small places. I also realized in my astrological research that Sagittarius is probably THE sign that is archetypically and fundamentally connected with the concept of the Knight as seen in many human cultures.
However, I had to give up on that dream because while I had an inspired plan based on how the world is slowly becoming more feudal (as crazy as that sounds) of using potential "glory" in warfare (given a possibly and lamentably bloody future) to reform the military (and then use it as a reform vehicle so to speak), and give more leverage to my descendants through a foundation in charisma and deed (also in the whole spiritual sense of the word), I think it makes more sense for me to have a stronger shot to raise my son (when I get one) with my own two hands. That way I can ensure that my knowledge, mission, and paternal line are successfully passed before I die at whatever point I leave them. If I became a fighter pilot, I would leave my future son on the hands of an education system and society I cannot trust, instead of on my wing. Mothers are the best during early childhood, but the father takes a more prominent and necessary role as the child ages. I would also be much more educated, due to time and resources provided by wealth that doesn't exactly come from responsibility. To be able to raise him on my wing, I must succeed in the stock market. The versatility and opportunity that come from a foundation in wealth are undeniable as well, and this includes the probability for developing true charisma for a variety of purposes. In the ol' aristocratic days my idea may have flown better, but now, this is the world of merchants for better or for worse.
I am still joining the Air Force as an officer, but with the versatility granted by a shorter contract (fighter pilot contracts are 10 years minimum compared to the normal 4 year contract), and the capacity to return to Japan proper (Yokota base is logistical, not combat oriented). It is not just that I love Japan, it is that I also have an unexpected connection to it because of descent from the Zhou Dynasty. Using that would be very beneficial far in the future (whether I get to see the benefit in my lifetime is the question). It gets crazy, really crazy, but a hint I will leave is King Taibo of Wu.
People ask me why I joined the Marine Corps, because the Marine Corps is known to be the most stupid, while the Air Force is known to be the smartest.
If it seems I wrote too much, well, funnily enough, there is much more detail to everything I said, but I am containing myself for practical purposes. I will not reveal my "grand" plans on a forum either.

What are the birth times for your mother and godfather?
Like I said above, both are born in February 5th, 1964, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
I do not know if my memory fails here, but maybe her birth certificate, if I ever actually saw it right (yeah definitely hazy memory) stated her as being born at 1500. Though she insists it was 1300, and due to my hazy memory of this, and her insistence plus whole tale about her mother eating lunch very close to the time she delivered, I am inclined to think she has the right of it and that it is 1300. Interesting trivia is that my mother is Dominican of Colonial descent (Spaniard and/or Italian blood). The majority of Dominican People are of African descent, so she is a minority.
My godfather, on the other hand, is also confusing, but in another way. He states that he was born either 1500, or 0300. However, upon my insistence, he said it was most likely 1500 after asking her mother. By the way, as weird as it sounds, my Godfather is also another first generation Chinese in Dominican republic.
The times are of course, not very reliable... Due to lack of birth certificate at hand, and also to top it off... "Round" hours. A good hint is that my mother has clear Lunar and Venusian influences. That should help a bit perhaps. That said, I can see strong similarities in personality between both, but these are only found after scratching the surface. Otherwise, it is kind of hard to believe they have similarities at first glance.
Thank you very much for your participation and involvement sir.

Would it be correct, then, to say your mother was born at 1:00 PM and your godfather at 3:00 PM approximately? After your inquiry earlier, I was going to give you interpretations for those things in their charts that would most distinguish them (the angular planets), but it sounds like you aren't that sure about their times.

If your mother was born February 5 1964, 1:00 PM, Santo Domingo, DR, here are the planetary angularities and foreground aspects that would most distinguish her from other people born that day, Ignoring a barely foreground Saturn, she has two angular planets:
Pluto square Midheaven (0°43')
Social outliers needing to be authentically themselves, without labels or arbitrary standards or expectations. Eccentric, antisocial, outrageous; won’t melt into the conventional collective. Singularly unique in their context, on their own path (vulnerable to persecution). Gentle, inoffensive, innocent, shy.
Uranus opposite Midheaven 6°29'
Strongly individualistic, independent, going their own way. Needs freedom & breathing room (physical, intellectual) and frequent renewal (through new interests & experiences, shedding inhibitions, shaking loose stale conditions). Responds strongly to the new, unexpected, thrilling, colorful, exciting. Pragmatic realist anchored by naked truth (seeker who forges an ideal from experience of the actual). Clownish, fun. Prefers disclosure over mystery.
If your godfather was born February 5 1964, 3:00 PM, Santo Domingo, DR, has no foreground planets except Jupiter barely in the zone at 9°55' from MC. The contrast between them would be that he would not have the strong Pluto and Uranus traits from above, especially because his one barely foreground planet is opposite them in nature.
Both of them have Moon conjunct Neptune and square Mars closely, but your mother has this stronger. While I would expect both to display these traits closely, I would expect her to display them more. She has Moon square Mars 0°07', he has it 0°48' (both quite strong, hers stronger). She has Moon conjunct Neptune 0°35', he has it 1°34'.
Moon square Mars
Active & reactive, temperamental, thinks & acts rapidly. Detests idleness, rarely still. Driven, competent, ambitious. Impatient, acerbic, irritable. Too frank & sharp-tongued (hence friction in close relationships). Needs physical, emotional, & mental “room to breathe” (little domestic instinct). Substance abuse not uncommon. Sexual needs strong, almost irrepressible (the women are often real sexual firecrackers, notable for the speed and intensity of their climaxes).
Moon conjunct Neptune
Sensitive – often too much! Tunes into others on an emotional (psychic?) level: can be deeply understanding, genuinely sympathetic, but also emotionally (psychically) vulnerable, easily wounded, with abiding fears of rejection. Self-defense through avoidance (non-confrontation) & slamming shut senses & good sense. When wounded, withdraws & introverts (often with excessive rumination, imagination working overtime, worry, moodiness). Drawn to the imaginative, surrealistic, and creative. Genius, if present, coexists with deeply, visibly disturbed character.
Additionally, your mother has a close (1°52') Moon-Sun mundane square that your godfather doesn't have.
Moon square Sun
Energetic, dynamic, terrific drive, forceful. Psychic vitality, a mental-emotional attitude biased toward success. At home with power. Intense desire in whatever they undertake. High vitality (unless the luminaries are afflicted). Sexual desires also particularly strong, passionate, though often narcissistic. Possible vanity, self-exaltation, and obstinacy.
As an aid in investigating what Sidereal astrology says that is zodiac-distinctive, here are the luminary and Mars placement they both share:
Moon in Libra
Attractive, magnetic, charm (easily draws lovers). “Looking good” opens doors. Tease (self & others): entice, deny, gratify. Peace (courtesy, compromise); wants peaceful surroundings. Justice (righting wrongs). Determined, persists, passionate, shrewd. Emotionally efficient. Private; slow at self-disclosure. Independent, self-sufficient.
Sun in Capricorn
Survival and autonomy needs foremost. Sociable; not self-disclosing. Humor, storyteller, prankish, music. Good resource manager. Struggles against tough odds. Discontent, combative, resists persuasion and conformity. Values past; defies status quo. Emotions cautious initially. Extreme libido.
Mars in Capricorn
Courage, stands own ground (prefers action to complaining). Confrontational, discontent: creates unnecessary struggle & conflict (over authority, control, father issues). Private, secretive, self-veiling. (Mysterious façade, or deceptive; to avoid control, look good, or not be found out). Much unresolved shadow; vulnerable to dark moods; carries past darkness around. Sexually forthright (strong needs + practicality).
