Dec 4, 1957, 6:20 PM, London (51N28'03", 0W01'09")
"Two trains collided in dense fog.. near Lewisham in London." Details in the article: Main story is that one train had stopped at a signal, under a bridge, and another train crashed into it, "destroying a carriage and causing the bridge to collapse onto the [first] train." Transportation shutdown for "over a week" on that line and a month longer to rebuild the bridge and open it to traffic. 90 died, 109 were hospitalized.

The collision occurred as Saturn squared local MC under a Moon-Uranus square. The charts are...weird... some that almost are alive would be quite accurate but they don't quite make it; others are quite poor.

Year: Capsolar (Dormant.) Moon-Venus Moon-Jupiter.
(However the most angular planet is Saturn, 3°29' from Dsc.)

Year: Cansolar {+1}
Neptune on WP 1°13'
Sun & Saturn more widely angular
-- Sun-Neptune sq. 2°20' (in RA)

Bridge {-2}
t Jupiter sq. s MC 0°49'

Quarter: Libsolar (Dormant.) Moon-Uranus
(Again, it's tempting to take the closest planet. Saturn is only 3°10' from Dsc and the 3° threshold is, of course, arbitrary.)

Month: Caplunar {-2}
Mercury sq. MC 0°17' [conj. non-angular Saturn 0°08' in mundo]
Venus on Dsc 2°56'
Moon & Jupiter widely angular
-- Sun-Venus sq. 0°33' PVP
-- Moon-Jupiter sq. 1°24'
-- Venus-Jupiter sq. 2°32'
-- Moon-Venus conj. 3°56'

Week: Arilunar {+1}\
Saturn sq. MC 0°52'
Mars & Pluto widely foreground
-- Mars-Pluto sq. 1°19' in mundo
Moon-Jupiter op. 0°02'
Moon-Uranus sq. 2°31'
Moon-Venus sq. 2°56'

Day: Capsolar Quotidian {+1}
p Moon op. p Mercury 0°46'

Day: Cansolar Quotidian & Transits {0}
p MC op. t Saturn 1°07'
