If we asked people directly and/or members of this forum specific questions about their life and such, then we’d get more unbiased, clear, accurate information as opposed to telling them what their chart says. Doing this increases more pure, accurate information.
Maybe a test of questions.
Makes sense right?
Indirectly this is happening here and there, especially when people are talking about their current life events we compare them to transits. But to really reveal personal information would show allot.
And then we have biographies on well known people we can compare and contrast. This is helpful but I think a specific questionnaire would show much more.

I like the concept of such a compiled data base, and if you have a questionnaire in mind please share and we can all bat it around.

However, I see some serious (let's call them) sociological barriers that would have to be overcome for this. People primarily come here to get told about themselves - and perhaps to test us and draw conclusions from what we deliver - more than to volunteer for a research project. This is especially true when they are new to the site: They have no particular reason to trust us, and greeting them with, "Please fill out this questionnaire about yourself" probably won't fly very well.

That's aside from the fact that I'm not sure self-description of one's salient character traits is a sound way to assess them. I haven't looked at those studies for years. At least some kinds of behavior are accurately assessible this way, e.g., it's a good first filter on depression (consider the Beck inventory). But for basic self-description the studies I saw years ago fell on the side that people don't do a very good job of that. (It's complicated, of course.)

People often with good intentions mis represent themselves.

If asked my hobbies I could say rock hunting which is something I have done but not in a few years. I aspire to do more but realistically.....

I haven’t thought of a specific questionnaire yet. I mean, assume it would have to be either custom made based on their natal chart and/ or more general to astrological terms and/ or just basic questions.
Each question can represent a planet or sign or whatever. Or any basic questionnaire.
I agree people can misrepresent their self but I think questionnaires would show more than not having any at all. It’s an experiment.
For example- We could ask-
Did you play sports as a child? Did you play organized sports, if so, which one(s)
Do you smoke? Do you have one or more alcoholic drinks in a day? One or less? Zero? How often do you drink?
How many close friends do you have? Have you had many friends?
What is or was your favorite subject(s) in school?
How many romantic partners have you had? How many breakups? How long was your longest relationship?
So many questions.
I could just copy and paste a questionnaire.

A list of questions on specific behaviors such as James is suggesting seems to be far more likely to be answered honestly than Jim's "self-description of one's salient character traits."
I don't think it's intrusive to say "We're doing a study. If you'd like to help, please list your birthdata and answer these questions." Maybe offer something in return like a "You're a Virgo Sun, but this behavior is unusual in Virgo Suns." type stuff. People love to know how they're different from the norm.

One year at the college library I worked at, our director held a conference for our personal development. He believed we could be better employees if we understood our own personality and character and see and understand how our fellow colleagues were different.
He had each of us complete Jungian based Meyers Briggs personality test.
It was amazing. I love taking tests. It was so interesting and did allow us all to come together and work better as a team.

I have often thought that the 16 combinations could easily be transferred into sun moon mars venus type casting but I never really sat down to see how it paired up.

Thanks Jupe and Veronica for supporting this idea. I’m too busy right now to come up with a questionnaire. In the mean time , listing our enneagram type (top types if not one) and our “16 personality type “ and comparing it with natal chart, would be a fun experiment or study.

I am most likely an enneagram type 5 (not sure about the wing.Types 5, 1, 6 3 and 4, are my top types every time, but 5 makes most sense and is almost always what I test as. Least like a 2 ,7, 9, and 8 is in the middle) and an INTJ.
