Here are some basic maps highlighting some of (what surely will be) the more important trends of the year.
The most important aspect in the 2020 Capsolar is the triple Sun-Saturn-Pluto conjunction. We want to look at where it falls on angles around the world. After this pair of maps (the first for conjunctions to horizon and meridian, the second for squares to the angles), I have a pair maps for the two malefics and another pair for the two benefics.
Sun-Saturn-Pluto on Angles
Malefics (Mars-Saturn) on Angles
Benefics (Venus-Jupiter) on Angles

Sun-Saturn-Pluto falls across some noteworthy areas. (Remember to look at both the maps for this.) There is no way that south Florida, New Orleans-Mississippi, or Yucatan will get through this year with a devastating hurricane. Southeast Asia (especially Malaysia) will get some serious blows. Portugal and the entire west coast of Africa are getting smacked, the former most credibly with economic failure, the latter perhaps with ethnic conflict and inhuman horrors - and, of course, both with the risk of natural disaster. Western Europe in general is hurting, perhaps as a direct consequence of Brexit.
The Malefics maps duplicate much of this, of course, because of Saturn's inclusion. The Mars lines paint a frightening picture of, well, fire and war, two things Mars does very well. For fire, notice that Mars lines pass through southern and central California (Santa Barbara gets it worse than Napa this year), Australia, and the Amazon. For war, do not miss the Mars IC line cutting right through Tehran - the Iran situations will heat up a lot this year - but also other Middle East states, particularly Saudi Arabia.
And for good news, the Benefics map tells us where the happier stories of the year will be set (or at least the areas that will get the most rain!). San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo have powerful Venus lines, making them obvious vacation and party spots for the year. Venus also calms part of the Middle East (unless she shares angles with Mars, which instantly heats up everyone's volatile emotions). Jupiter cuts through Houston - which is already on track to keep growing and thriving, but also (especially if there are the expected Gulf hurricanes) for rain - and up the east side of the Plains States. Ireland has Jupiter square MC, providing the setting for perhaps the best success story to emerge from Brexit.
