Zodiac Signs Purely On Observation

What are your thoughts on people of various zodiac signs based purely on observation (no references to established sign traits, ruling planets, or otherwise)? I generally find them to strongly correlate to western sidereal astrology. Even before I knew of sidereal astrology, I did find tropical astrology to be somewhat off.
I'll start. Me, my mom, and my friend C***o are all Sagittarius. I notice that my mom is very hard-working, ambitious, and career-driven. She generally has a bright and optimistic personality, like a Pollyanna determination to make the best out of life and not give into despair.
C***o is generally cheerful and sociable though she is also quiet and modest. She identifies as an ambivert (both extrovert and introvert traits). She is somewhat sexually conservative.
What about you guys?

I think in families its easier to see them fit.
But Ill tell ya, maybe its just the people I meet or who I attract into my life.....I cant ever get a grasp. They seem inconsistent, contradictory, and very much wearing masks and straight out lying.
Ive tried listening to word choice, watching behaviors and habits, muscle movements and stance and lots of other subtle cues to try and gleen their needs and drives and where their Sun Moon and Mars might be.....
But Im almost always wrong about my guesses.
Thats with adults.
Now in the past 2 years I have gotten to know very well several hundred children ages 9-14....and I seem to be able to guess more accurately thier signs...though I still fail more often then not.

I really do not think that any sexually conservative is bounded to any zodiac signs, IMO.
I'm not sure
exactly what you are saying. Could you say more, please?

I agree with the OP that the traits are definitely there. However its always a mix of luminaries at least if not angular planets that akways shine through.
I think its also easier for me to pick up on certain undercurrents that flow through my family and into my friend group. All of my best friends and my mother have scorpio Sun/Moon/and or Mars. There also is a common theme of Mars with Mercury energy [addiction patterns] this includes my bother sister and I in addition to my 3 current closest friends and my mother.
However its not like I check people's charts before I choose to be friends with them.

Yeah, the only way to distill qualities that belong to a zodiac sign only is to vet many natal charts that are extremely heavy with that sign. You take people who, let's say in your example, have Sun, Moon, Mars, and at least one "personal planet" in Scorpio. You find some kind of personality evaluation test, and you somehow use it to get results. Then you will find some common traits throughout. Repeat for all the signs.
