What if any contribution does the sign of the MC/IC & AC/DC have on the character?

Lots of books and websites (that are not Sidereal) put weight on the rising sign.

My Sun is also in the same sign as my MC and my Venus in the same sign as my DC. I feel akin with those signs deeply and was curious if that may have to do with the angles.

We've discussed this here before several times, I think while you were not here for awhile. The general consensus was some of us would love it to be true, but there turned out to be little to no apparent contribution, either to character, or to physical appearance.

So I'd say not much, maybe nothing at all. Having planets in signs has far more to say, especially Sun sign, so I'd also say, you probably can't tell from your own chart + personality.

Manilius had a lot to say about rising signs and rising planets. If you put "manilius" in the search box (top right of the page) you'll find a lot of it.

I assumed it didnt because Ive not seen it ever mentioned in peoples charts nor found any threads that specifically asked.

I was curious about any possible differentiation for when planets aspect our angle...for example my moon squaring my Aquarius MC....is there any difference between that and a moon squaring a Pieces MC?

I think what Im understanding is the fact that my moon is in scorpio so it squares Aquarius/Leo regardless and having my MC also there is lost in effect, it doesnt make my Scorpio moon colored with Aquarius/Leo.

Nor my Virgo pluto colored by my Gem/Sag AC/DC?

Right. Your Scorpio Moon is opposing Taurus and square Aquarius/Leo regardless. The only thing that having it near an angle does is put it near an angle.
