Great Fire of Valparaiso

I was drawn to this event by the report of another fire (much smaller) in Valparaiso Christmas Eve. The 2014 "Great Fire" killed 15 people, destroyed 2,500 homes, and left 11,000 people homeless. This is modest compared to some other "Great Fires," but worth investigating.

I don't see that this was labelled "arson," but the conclusion was that it was "started by the intervention of third parties," i.e., arson or an accident I suppose. During the course of the fire, Valparaiso experienced six general power outages (between 6 PM and 1 AM), which, besides causing general difficulties and likely increasing fear, interfered with fire fighters and gave opportunities to looters. Two days later, some fires were still burning. - The outbreak occurred as a Venus-Neptune conjunction squared MC. The Week chart catches the terror beautifully. The overall timing unfolded like clockwork.
