Here's the information for the 2020 SSR I was asking about earlier in another thread. Corrections welcome.

Are these planets the most angular? What natal factors are closely foreground? Is SSR Moon doing anything?

Working it from the top for comparison. BTW, first impression at a glance is that yes, if she has some situational vulnerabilities - things in her life on the precipice of caving in - this could be rough. However, if things are a little more under control then it would be a lot better. The EXACT Moon-Jupiter square is important, given the rough things also there.

t Uranus on Dsc -9°49'
t Mercury on IC -4°44'
r Sun on IC -0°46'
t Saturn sq. Asc -0°35' (IC +1°38')
---------------------------
r Venus on IC +0°04'
t Pluto sq. Asc +0°17' (IC +1°48')

r Mercury on IC +9°16'

-- t Saturn-Pluto conj. 0°10' in mundo
-- -- -- t Sa/Pl sq. Asc 0°09'
-- r Sun-Venus conj. 0°50' in mundo
-- -- -- r Su/Ve on IC 0°21'

-- t Saturn conj. r Venus 1°23'
-- t Pluto conj. r Venus 1°42'
-- t Saturn conj. r Sun 2°22'
-- t Pluto conj. r Sun 2°34' in mundo
-- t Mercury-Uranus sq. 3°30'
-- t Mercury conj. r Sun 3°36
-- t Mercury conj. r Venus 4°35'

t Moon-Jupiter sq. 0°00' in mundo

Other partile
t Uranus op. r Pluto 0°59' in mundo

Trimming this down to the stronger factors, we see:

t Moon-Jupiter sq. 0°00' in mundo

r Sun on IC -0°46'
t Saturn sq. Asc -0°35' (IC +1°38')
---------------------------
r Venus on IC +0°04'
t Pluto sq. Asc +0°17' (IC +1°48')

-- t Saturn-Pluto conj. 0°10' in mundo
-- -- -- t Sa/Pl sq. Asc 0°09'
-- r Sun-Venus conj. 0°50' in mundo
-- -- -- r Su/Ve on IC 0°21'

-- t Saturn conj. r Venus 1°23'
-- t Pluto conj. r Venus 1°42'
-- t Saturn conj. r Sun 2°22'
-- t Pluto conj. r Sun 2°34' in mundo

It does seem to me - given the closeness of the Saturn-Pluto to natal Sun-Venus and how close they all are to the angles, including the Sa/Pl midpoint square to Asc and the Su/Ve midpoint on IC - that there will be some significant personal loss, probably family, probably male - her father, perhaps?

It also seems that there are very strong, positive factors helping through this time, including the 0°00' Moon-Jupiter square and (though assaulted) her own Sun-Venus conjunction. Love and devotion carries through. The Moon-Jupiter progresses to exact February 18 and operates strongly a month before and after that; but, in broader terms, it operates all year.

Well... I mean...

Do I tell her all that? I have no idea how to approach something so heavy like that.

Don't be definitive but be honest. Don't miss the chance to use a question instead of a statement. One has to "be there" to know what to say in a given situation, but maybe I can make something up as an example...

I don't know her personally, so I don't know how she relates to the condition of her life, her survival and well-being, her relationships, etc. One tactic is to start a conversation where she becomes as much a factor in what gets said as you are.

For example, you could say something general but honest and no-BS like, "Every year has its good and its bad, its highs and lows. This year has both [point on the chart to the Saturn-Pluto vs. the Moon-Jupiter, if she's interested]. If I'm reading this right, your new year will be one of the tough ones - more weight to carry, perhaps some losses - yet with a solid note of grace to help you through it. Generally, we don't get to slide out from under the heavy stuff but, knowing about it in advance can make it easier to navigate or endure."

Then ask (presuming you're catching the balance right and this is a tougher year than other years), what are the vulnerable places in her life? Financial? Her health? The health of family members? Let her think through and draw out where the vulnerable spots are. As appropriate, mention that Saturn-Pluto on her natal Sun-Venus makes this look like something or someone personal, that she feels strongly about.

Etc. As I said, I'm making this up. Does that help?

Lance, I think it important to consider a most important Solar Arc factor occurring in CFS life combined with her most important 2020 SSR.

Noel Tyl (RIP) says from his most excellent book, Solar Arcs—Astrology's most successful predictive system:
In predictive astrology, there is nothing more important than the angles of the natal horoscope. It is safe to say that nothing vitally important in life development occurs without angular contact. Angles are crucial.
Note CFS Solar Arc Neptune 14,02 Cap is partile cnj her Natal Ascendant 14,22 Cap, and will be exact during her 2020 Solar Year.

Noel offers as a tone for Neptune = Ascendant:
High sensitivity, impressionability, spiritual projection, loss of ego.
As a possible important added factor, note: Her Solar Arc Uranus partile cnj her Natal Venus and Natal Sun.

Oh my geez..

I'm working up her transits for the year. Saturn and Pluto conjunctions all over her Sun and Venus...

We started talking about her SSR. I asked her if she felt any kind of energy change yet. She said, "Yes, in my relationship."

I haven't discussed her transits yet with her, and I haven't looked at her progressions yet either. But just looking at her SSR and transits, I'm thinking her relationship won't survive this. I mean, maybe... But dang.

Just on my end, however, I'm learning that the value of a good astrologer is having someone to talk you through the results. It's much more about relationship and conversation than cutting and pasting the correct paragraphs. Old skills are having to reawaken in me.

My nephew was very interested in his astrology and asked me about it. I cut and pasted his report and printed his SSR for 2020 Feb 14.
When he came over we talked for a good 2 or 3 hours. I never once opened his report and talked about it. We talked about how the solar system formed and how it moves around and cycles.
I showed him on his chart how the outer planets had moved and transited and how the inner planets moved and transited differently.
The idea that I wanted him to have was that life has ups and downs and that while he has had a lot of seemingly down stuff, that he got through it and not only did he get through it but it made him stronger and wiser. I also reminded him of how after 9/11 in the Marines at Falujea he would call me bc I was the only one home and we would talk for hours on his break. I reminded him that through that hellish time he had the loving support of his family to get him through and that there is always support to be found when we need it during our hardships.
