Jim, when you get time, give us an analysis/opinions for the SMA stack of charts for Dem Convention July 13-16, Milwaukee.

Well, OK. I usually wait for the montu before (and I don't think the Milwaukee charts will matter as much as the DC charts. It's a national event.)
What in particular are you looking for?

Not being sure what you're looking for, here are a few quick notes:
First, the week is politically charged worldwide (duh) with strong simultaneous themes of (1) fueling elitism, (2) overthrowing elitism, and (3) regime change or paradigm shift: Jupiter and Pluto are in near-partile conjunction in Sagittarius with Sun opposing them as the convention gets underway.
The
CAPSOLAR has Uranus exactly rising. The old
CANSOLAR remains in force until the after the convention is over and has Jupiter-Neptune dominating the angles (and the worldwide exact Moon-Uranus square). The
ARISOLAR is quite severe and shaking with Saturn at MC and Uranus exactly on EP. (Among other things this speaks to warring between forces of the old way and forces of the new way.)
The
new CANSOLAR might make a brief appearance. It occurs July 16, 10:24 PM CDT and has Neptune on EP and a Moon-Venus conjunction.
Based on the solar ingresses - emphasizing change, shakeups, intensified idealism, unrealistic expectations and gambles, one might conclude that it's a Bernie Sanders night.
the July 5 Caplunar is dormant but, worldwide, has a 35' Jupiter-Pluto conjunction a degree and a half from Moon. This aspect continues in the
July 13 ARILUNAR where they are a degree and a half apart and square Moon more widely but this also is dormant. The most recent non-dormant lunar ingress is the Canlunar three weeks earlier with Uranus 1°01' from square Ascendant -
another Uranus-dominated chart! - and Moon in partile opposition to a 39' Jupiter-Pluto conjunction.
Whether this is the correct way to beat Trump or not, it looks like the Democratic Party's choice at the convention is "the old ways give way to the new,"

Most interesting Jim! Much thanks for this SMA analysis.

Today this was rescheduled to begin August 17, so everything written above is irrelevant.
The new dates have the convention opening as Mars squares Saturn-Pluto.

Mid-summer, Biden has a Neptune problem - transiting Neptune crossing his natal IC. That hits exactly at the convention (within a degree all week). I fear it will make him look weak.
One big way the coronavirus crisis has helped Trump is that it has made him highly relevant - similar to how Bush was floundering for purpose until 9/11 hit. Trump now has an opportunity to look adequately presidential just by showing up and not screwing it up too badly. Biden, however, not being in office (unlike the Senators who competed against him) has nothing he can do. (If I were advising him my advice would be to form a team, with a catchy name, consisting of all my opponents - with priority to those currently serving in the Senate, and give them a catchy name - to get them out there in front of the cameras as Team Biden every day as a way of showing the powerful figures he can mobilize with his quiet, behind the scenes leadership.)
The convention also has Saturn exactly opposite Biden's Jupiter. (My gosh, might he actually not get the nomination? That makes more sense astrologically at the moment than not.) In fact, Mars and Saturn both pummel his Jupiter Thursday of that week, which means they also semi-sesqui his Saturn.

The Democratic Convention has been postponed from July 13 to August 17th, still in Milwaukee.
The Republican convention will take place on August 24th, in Charlotte, NC, and is likely to completely overshadow the Democratic convention.
