Trump administration on Election Day 2020

The Trump administration began January 20, 2017, 12:00 PM, at the Capitol Building, Washington, DC (38M53'24", 77W00'34"). The time that the term begins is specified by law as 12:00:00 PM independent of when the oath is taken.

I've never settled on a firm opinion of the importance of these charts. They seem at least broadly expressive of the nature of the administration and issues it must confront and may be responsive to transits etc. Siderealist Richard Murakami used to rely heavily on them IIRC for prediction of presidential elections and other things, basically asking how the administration, as an "independent being," will do on that day.

At the very least, transits to this one are interesting. Using November 4, 2020, 0:00 EST (an hour after the polls close on the West Coast and about the time the outcome starts being apparent), we have:

t Pluto sq. r Jupiter 0°03'
t Neptune conj. r Venus 0°33'
t Uranus op. r Moon 0°52'
-- t Uranus sqq. r Saturn 0°01'
-- t Uranus ssq. r Mars 0°52'
t Saturn conj. r MC 0°06'
t Jupiter sq. r Uranus 0°42'
t Mercury sqq. r Neptune 0°36'

It seems to me quite bad for the administration. To simplify, look especially at the aspects that are within a few minutes of exact:

t Pluto sq. r Jupiter 0°03'
t Uranus sqq. r Saturn 0°01'
t Saturn conj. r MC 0°06'

One might add progressed Moon's activities. See that Mars-Saturn square in the inauguration chart? Well, for election night:

r Saturn 28°32' Scorpio
p Saturn 28°55' Scorpio
r Mars 29°23' Aquarius
p Moon 29°33' Scorpio

It's at least worth a temper tantrum. (And quotidian Asc is within 1° of transiting Saturn.)

And this r 2017 Inauguration MC is 01,15 Cap, which I find most interesting!!! Why? Because Trump's Natal Venus is 01,45 Can, IMO, symbolizing his relationships (Venus) with the voters on election night 2020. This is a strong indication IMO the voters (Venus) on election night are going to separate (t. Saturn) the Donald from his Prez career (Inauguration MC) on election night.

Great observation Jim! Even though I have not studied Richard Murakami's work, he was a Siderealist and I put a certain amount of trust in any Siderealist's work :) .

BTW, in hindsight it's easy to see why the entire period of being president has been so uncomfortable for Trump so far. (I hadn't thought to look at it this way before.) It's not just that he had really bad transits when he was inaugurated - this also meant that he had a persisting bad relationship with his own administration. Thinking of the inauguration chart as the birth chart of an independent entity called the Trump Administration, here are the partile interchanges of that chart to Trump's natal ('a' for 'administration, 'r' for Trump radical):

a Pluto sq. r Jupiter 0°50'
a Neptune sqq. r Saturn 0°28'
a Saturn op. r Sun 0°25' (applying)
-- a Mars sq. r Sun 0°27' (separating)
-- a Mars/Saturn = r Sun 0°01'
a Mercury sq. r Neptune 0°04'
a Moon sqq. r Sun 0°27'
