Amy Klobacher will fly to Dallas tonight, to join Joe Biden and announce at his rally she's suspending her campaign and she is throwing her support to Biden.
She was expected to win the Michigan primary, but this puts Sanders back in the running there.
Tennessee tornadoes

March 2, 2020, time, place
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/March_202 ... o_outbreak
At least 19 people are dead from a terrible tornado (or more than one) and other storms that passed through central Tennessee late last night. Vast property damage also resulted plus power outages for tens of thousands of people (current estimates over 50,000).
The deaths were primarily in Putnam County (14 of the 19). Nashville was hit hard with 45 buildings damaged and over 150 people hospitalized. CNN cites, from the National Weather Bureau, that the tornadoes were reported from Camden, TN about 11 PM through Nashville about midnight and around Cookeville (in Putnam Co.) "shortly before 2 AM." The first tornado warning was issued at 11:02 PM, then a Nashville warning 0:35 AM. Eventually, the Wikipedia page above will probably add the NWB time and place tracking.
Eventually, I will want the time and place of maximum impact (probably maximum casualties). for now, looking at first impact in Camden, the Caplunar has Uranus exactly on IC (a little Jupiter), with the Moon-Saturn-Pluto conjunction barely foreground. Similar and worse, the Arilunar has Uranus right on MC and Saturn exactly on WP. Today's Venus-Saturn square exactly touches the Capsolar Asc for the area. CanQ has Moon-Uranus on angles.

U.S. Stock Market drops 7%, trading halted
Posted: Mon Mar 09, 2020 7:02 am
by Jim Eshelman
At its opening this morning, the U.S. stock market plunged in a steep 7% drop following even worse international drops overnight. This is mostly coronavirus concern, compounded by sharp oil price drops overnight.
Five minutes after the market opened (which would be 9:35 AM EST), automatic safeguards halted NYSE trading for 15 minutes. (The market was given a timeout
.) The hope, of course, is that this will stabilize things.
For comparison, a 7-8% drop is similar to the multiple drops that crumbled the market beginning in August 2008, with a 6.98% drop 9/29/08, 8.87% drop 10/15/08, 7.33% drop 10/9/08, etc. Notice that these were
multiple drops of this size, not a single, worried day's reaction. This is much less than, say, the 22% drop that marked the 1987 crash. Depending on how the rest of the day goes, it may or may not make it within 20 worst percentage-wide drops in history (#20 was 6.91% in 1914 and nobody even remembers that anymore).
But with the "timeout," I think we have a technical panic, if if just a
little panic.
At 9:35 AM, Pluto was 2° off MC for Wall Street, Jupiter 9° past MC, Uranus 5° past Asc, and Saturn 7° approaching MC.
Today's Full Moon is likely making things more volatile (Moon is near perigee). For Wall Street, though Jupiter sets it is fairly closely straddled by Mars and Pluto. Sun conjoins Neptune. For impact on the nation, Washington, DC has Mars
exactly setting, winning out over Jupiter-Pluto-Saturn.
World Health Org officially declares Covid-19 a Pandemic

About 1 PM Eastern, Dr. Ghebreyesus of the World Health Organization announced Covid-19 has officially been declared a pandemnic. I can't find out where he was when he made the announcement although I believe he was at the Org site at the United Nations in NYC.

Wuhan shoots! It scores!! It reaches 100 countries!!! Folk, we have us a real pandemic. Woo-ha!
Not sure why (at a world, rather than local level) this got declared today. Virgo Moon was squaring the Sagittarius cluster all morning. Probably a reaction to the Neptune-driven Full Moon a couple of days ago?

Omaha had a big whoop press conference today. Mayor, Police Chief, Fire Chief, somebody from the local health department (who got the most questions to the mayor's surprise. Heads of the local big deal convention center and other local entertainment centers. Woe are they they've had to cancel fans at sporting events and stuff and OMG they're losing money.
Meanwhile people are asking how to get tested if they think they need it and if school is cancelled how are people supposed to stay home with their kids and why aren't hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol and cleaning wipes available anywhere?
Government does not get it. Won't get it till more of them get sick.
The government response feels very Sagittarian to me. Also stupid.
National Emergency declared

At approximately 3:30 PM Eastern today (3/13/20), Pres. Trump declared a national emergency.
LA Times wrote:President Trump has declared a national emergency over the coronavirus outbreak in order to allow more federal aid to flow to states and cities.
The move frees up some $40 billion in federal funding for states, and allows them to request a 75% federal cost-share for expenses related to virus response, including emergency workers and medical supplies.

Malaysia to enter partial lockdown for 14 days

Our new (backdoor-government
) PM, Muhyiddin Yassin has recently announced that Malaysia will be under a (partial?) lockdown/Movement Control Order, from
March 18-31, to curb the spread of COVID-19, in a speech he made at 10PM, March 16th.
Latest figures say that Malaysia has recorded 553 cases of the novel coronavirus, of which 42 have recovered. Though for the past few days, tens and hundreds of new cases were being recorded each day, predominantly from the participants of a 3-day Muslim
tabligh event in a Kuala Lumpur mosque that took place from Feb 27 to Mar 1, attended by around 16,000 people.
Malaysians in general were already in much fear due to the coronavirus outbreak, and a quick glance at the Malaysian Ministry of Health's Facebook page would show you many comments of Malaysians calling for a lockdown.
Restrictions put in place by the Movement Control Order:
- All mass gatherings, public events and assemblies are cancelled and forbidden.
- All houses of worship are to be closed; thus, obligatory Friday noon Muslim prayers at all mosques are cancelled as well. Muslims are advised to pray at home instead.
- All businesses are to be closed, except for markets, supermarkets, retail and grocery stores.
- All government and private premises are to be closed, except for those of "essential services", which are the utilities, (water, electricity, fuel) food, transport, telecommunication, mail, security, defence and etc.
- All public and private schools, colleges, universities and other institutions of learning are to be closed.
- All foreign tourists and visitors are barred from entering the country, and Malaysians are barred from leaving the country. Malaysians who are just returning to the country will be screened and quarantined if necessary.
Panic buying has gotten worse, due to fears that a lockdown will be declared today (technically yesterday, as it's past midnight here). At first, since a week ago, only face masks and hand sanitiser were running out, now I see pictures of supermarkets' and stores' shelves getting empty.
Thank goodness I am already back home in Klang since last week, right after the end of my second semester. My third semester is supposed to begin on March 23, but it now seems like online lectures would probably be conducted instead, like in most other universities here. My hostel requires me to check in on March 21 or 22, but that is very likely to change as well.
Guys, I really hope you could shed some light on the situation here with your mundane analyses. It would help me very much to get a hold/grasp of all of this.

Today's development:
The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) announced that all interstate travel in Malaysia will be restricted from midnight, whether by car, public transport or flight. If one needs to travel to another state, they should inform it to their nearest police station and get an approval.
Stricter restrictions may be put into place if the public largely disregards the new order in the next few days.
Malaysians living in the state of Johor that work in nearby Singapore aren't allowed to leave the country from tomorrow, so they are either on unpaid leave, or are staying over in Singapore for the next two weeks, by themselves or through the support of their employers providing them temporary housing.

Scales, Jim is pretty busy with his day job right now. I don't know if he'll have time to get to giving you mundane predictions for your area.
Yes, the world economy is crashing since most businesses are shut down because their workers are being ordered to stay home. Trump is right as often as a stopped clock, but yesterday, when he said this is not the time to worry about the economy, and there's nothing anybody can do about it right now anyway, he was right. So ignore the economy. Nobody cares how "bad" it gets or how far the stock market drops. It's just not important. After the pandemic is over, it will become important again, but it just isn't now.
Jim gave his mundane predictions for right now
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=3847, and the next
viewtopic.php?f=46&t=3932 for the US.
I believe you have Solar Fire, so you can cast the mundane charts for your area. Look at how Jim interprets the local charts for the US. Cast the charts for your capital as well as where you are and use the z-analog option to show the angularity along the prime vertical.
You can use Jim's interpretations of the strong aspects in the charts. The only thing that changes is what's angular.
If you don't have solar fire available, you can use the astro-maps on astro.com to see how close each planet gets to angular in the area of the capital, and your own area. You won't be able to get as fine detail as solar fire, but it's a good start.

Yeah, I was made aware of that after reading the threads in Club Aldebaran yesterday. So I was not expecting any replies from any of you guys soon. I realise that the US has been taking some drastic measures too. Stay safe everyone

Yes, I do have Solar Fire. I'll try my best to follow his techniques.
Kuala Lumpur is more-or-less longitudinally opposite Washington DC, so our ingress charts tend to be similar to yours. We have a Sun-Saturn-Pluto Capsolar too, but ours has Uranus angular as well, IIRC.

I think it's important to understand this is a natural disaster. I think for this, if we use SMA to help interpret the aspects and angularities, we should come pretty close to what's happening.

Breaking: Malaysian interstate travel restrictions are put on hold as Malaysians are swarming police stations by the hundreds. (Most of them are just students wanting to get back home as classes are now cancelled.) The Royal Malaysian Police will make a decision on this matter tomorrow.
Also, I forgot to mention, Malaysia recorded its first two deaths due to COVID-19 today.

accurate, revealing and clarifying mundane astrology done Sidereally can be.
