Mars-Neptune in Aquarius

Today, Mars conjoins Neptune in Aquarius. (Earlier today, the Moon squared them from Scorpio.)

So, when I open the New York Times to it's lead story, what do I see dominating the national mind? It's the story of the administration zeroing in on it's formal military policies to defend against, attack with, and counter-attack with cybernetic weapons. Cyber warfare. Covert, closely held, undisclosed cyber warfare rules.

While reading this, I thought, hmm, I wonder if anything is happening in Aquarius. Oh (I suddenly remembered), only a Mars-Neptune conjunction there, squared by a Scorpio Moon.

Hmm.

Continuing into a new day... the buzz that is drawing everyone's attention is the Post Office's announcement that, beginning in August, they will stop Saturday delivery except for packages. (This has been a long time coming, and is a necessary way to save money IMHO.) Today isn't the change - today is the announcement and the psychological buzz about the matter.

So, the obvious question is, "What's Mercury doing today?" On a quick check - Mars has moved on a degree, and today Mercury is partile conjunct Neptune in Aquarius (Mars nearby). And the Moon is in Sagittarius, so the spirit of the Pony Express is in everyone's mind. ;)
